LILAH WAS FOUND WITH THE VEHICLE AND SHE IS SAFE!

Lilah, a husky, was inside a white 2006 Ford Escape with Oregon plate 221PWH when it was stolen from the area of NE 27th Street and Neff Road in Bend on Friday, May 29.

Lilah is very sweet, but she is likely scared and may be running loose if she escaped from the vehicle. She is microchipped and was wearing a blue harness with tags when she disappeared.

If you see Lilah or the vehicle, please do not assume someone else has already reported it. Every sighting matters. Please call Bend Police Non-Emergency at 541-693-6911 and include the date, time, exact location, and direction of travel if known.

Please note that the vehicle may no longer be displaying plate 221PWH, as the plates could have been removed or changed after the theft.

Lower-quality or unknown plastics ( #3, #6, 7) raise more concern due to additives and higher potential for chemical migration, particularly when containers become scratched, cloudy, or degraded. Silicone is stable for short term use, but capable of absorbing oils and odours with long-term use.

One of the most practical takeaways is that storage habits matter: keeping kibble in its original bag and placing the whole bag inside a container helps reduce direct contact and preserves freshness.
