Hi Fam,
I’m going to be honest: hiring a new stylist and opening up my salon to a mass amount of new clients for the first time in three years has been a bit of a whirlwind!
It has been so fun meeting new dogs and hearing new stories, and I love that the business is finally growing in the direction I’ve dreamed of. But I’ve hit a bit of a snag—I’ve become the bottleneck. Because you guys are so incredibly loyal, many of you are holding out specifically for my personal schedule. While I’m so flattered, it means I’m stuck in a spot where I can’t grow, and I can’t slow down. To be the best groomer (and business owner) I can be, I need to lean on my team.
If you’ve been hesitant to book with my new stylist, I’m asking you to consider giving them a chance—not because you "have to," but because I trust them, and I am still right here.
Here is my promise to you:
I am still hands-on in every single step of the process. I am overseeing the work, checking the details, and ensuring that the high standard of care you’ve come to expect at The Local Floof never wavers.
By being open to a session with our new stylist, you’re helping my business breathe, and in return, you’re getting much more flexibility with your scheduling. You get the dates you actually want, and your dog still gets the premium care I’ve always insisted on.
To those who have already made the jump—thank you for your trust. It means everything. To those who are on the fence, I invite you to have a conversation with me. Let’s find a way to make this work for you and your furry family.
Here are a few of the new faces we've welcomed into The Local Floof family over the last couple weeks.
