Good news! Starting now- you can get signed up for 2026. Our normal schedule will open up October 1st. Come in to get a jump start on sign ups! Also, more good news, stay tuned we will be accepting new haircut dogs soon!

We will be closed on Friday, July 4th, and Saturday, July 5th, in observance of the 4th of July holiday. This week, a limited number of bath spots are still available, and each dog will receive a festive bandana. To secure a spot, please call us at (541)728-0881.

In honor of Memorial Day weekend, our office will be closed this Saturday. We will resume our regular hours Tuesday, 5/27/25, and will be here Saturday, 5/31/25. Wishing everyone a safe weekend.

This weekend was a fun filled, continued education weekend for all our staff! Thanks to all the customers who helped accommodate an early close on Friday, so we can continue to learn and and educate our staff on the most up to date knowledge in the grooming world!

Dog Poisoned by the Diffuser
Saturday night I got home late and my dog didn't recognize me. Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday, he was still acting weird. I realized that I had been running my new diffuser and decided to turn it off. Sunday afternoon, he was feeling better.
Today at work, my dog sitter said that he wouldn't come out from under the bed. It was very odd as he is a happy dog.
I came from work early and again, he was very confused about who I was.
So I took him to emergency vet.
It turns out that the tea tree oil I was using in the diffuser is toxic for dogs. Thankfully the test showed that his liver was ok but we weren't out of the woods yet. He was given fluids under his skin to get the toxins out.
The vet and the poison control are saying that they see these cases often now that the popularity of essential oil is growing.
Please make sure that the essential oils you are burning are not toxic for your pets.
