New shapes and translating my favorite slip designs into pendant light carvings ✨ as the light fades the need for illumination in the darkness is greater 🕯️

Created these ritual vessels for an Aya ceremony I partook in earlier this year. For burning of various things, incense, smudging herbs and woods, things you wish to let go of ✨🍃🍂
Round bellied like the womb of a woman
Only now 5 months later am I able to string together my experiences and articulate it in a way that illuminates what my soul experienced there.

Check out the vessels in my shop 😘

Just a week or so from completing this 5 piece dinnerware set for Lady Bird Cultural Society ! I love a design project where I need to pull together multiple shapes with a single style or pattern. If you haven’t eaten at this exquisite Bend restaurant, you should get your b***y over there!

Throwing with so much White salmon Clay, I might be tempted on to the White Clay team 🙈 might…

What is our purpose as artist? Is it to make you think deeply, question reality, make social commentary, create beautiful things, compose nice looking objects, express our own inner world, play with paints and mud? Its is all that and so much more! For me I counter act all the ugly darkness that I see and feel in the world with beauty. Remembrance of the gifts from grandmother Earth. To bring something that reminds you of that moment on the beach, in the meadow, on the mountain, and in the valley. We humans have the gift of gratitude, and art can easily prompt gratitude. With more love in our hearts hopefully we can heal the darkness that lingers among the humans 🫶🏼✨
thanks for listening to my PSA.
I really like how these vases came out, took a tile design and put it on a round thing.

Pottery recap of 2025! Tiles, lighting, and goddess mugs consumed my mind most if the time 😍
And as I entered the new year with lots of giggles, lovely people, and wet snow. A big theme has been presence, getting out of my head, off the phone and answering to the life right infront of me. It’s easy for my Capricorn nature to take over and be so focused on setting and achieving goals that I dont stop to savor the connections with this amazing community around me. So with a renewed intention of focusing on presence, connection, and intentionality I’m taking an extend break from this platform. I feel like many artists have a story planted in their mind that we must be on social media to stay relevant, so people can discover us. Personally my business reflections from the past year have proven to me otherwise. Check out my website or follow me on Pinterest to stay connected. Better yet come by to visit me and all our other artist in real life 🤙🏽💕
