To say the last few days have been busy is an understatement. We left for Childress TX on Wednesday evening to pick up our news addition to our bird dog family and returned home with him at 2 pm today (Friday). Please welcome our new boy Apollo. He is from Straight Flush Outfitters of of Childress TX, thanks to Jason Foley. We can't wait to see what is to come from this guy!

We are saddened and heart broken with the unexpected loss of one of our beloved dams today. Our Little Ann passed away unexpectedly last night in her sleep. She appeared to be in excellent health and was her normal self at bed time last night and this morning she was no longer with us. She was a phenomenal mother dog. She also love helping other dams by being a surrogate for their puppies. She did this with Lab and Beagle puppies. She was a wonderful family dog and a big part of our bird dog family. RIP baby girl you will be deeply missed but never forgotten 💔

To say our 26th wedding anniversary yesterday 12/28/25 was a bit unorthodox is an understatement. We spent our day watching Harry Potter, Stranger Things, and watching over our Phoebe as she had started first stage of labor on 12/27/25 and 1st puppy didn't arrive until 4:58 pm on 12/28/25. Last puppy came at 11:41 pm, 6 beautiful puppies in all. At one point Phoebe gave us a scare and stalled her labor. We where getting ready to head to ER Vet in Fargo as she delivered puppy number three 3 hour and 3 minutes after puppy two. We got everyone cleaned up and headed to bed by 1:30 am this morning. Everyone is doing fantastic today. All in the life and day of a dog breeder/farmer.
