Over the past several months, we’ve experienced ongoing issues with our current software system, DaySmart Pet. Many clients have had trouble with online booking, boarding reservations, and text reminders not sending properly, schedules aren’t able to be printed out and reports are not reporting properly. After spending the last month researching different options, we have decided to transition Farmhouse Groom & Board over to Paw Partner software.
Our hope is that this new system will create a smoother, more user-friendly experience for everyone, especially for those who prefer the convenience of online booking for both grooming and boarding.
The new system is NOT live yet. The transition process will take about 2–4 weeks while everything is moved over and while I learn the new software myself. I will continue posting updates along the way so there are no surprises. Boy do I hate surprises 🥴
🚨 A few important notes:
• Existing appointments and client information will transfer over. (You may experience extra confirmation and reminder alerts along with this.)
• Vaccine records do not automatically transfer, so we will securely print and file those manually. (Vaccine records will still need to be resubmitted to us each time the vaccines are updated at your pet’s yearly wellness appointment.)
• Some online forms and paperwork will need to be completed again once the new system launches. I sincerely apologize for that inconvenience, but the new forms should be much quicker and easier to complete.
As our boarding services continue to grow, there will also be a few small policy updates regarding boarding drop-off and pick-up hours. Since we are a home-based business and I’m currently grooming solo while also balancing family life, these updates will help keep things running smoothly for everyone. ❤️
During the final transition between systems, online booking will temporarily be shut down for approximately 48-72 hours while everything is fully transferred over. I will give everyone plenty of notice beforehand.
Once the new system is ready, booking will primarily be app-based and I’ll post simple instructions and videos to help everyone through the process. And please don’t worry, if technology isn’t your thing, you can absolutely still call or message me directly and I’ll gladly help schedule appointments for you.
