Meet Winston! 🤎

Winston is an approximately 3-year-old mixed breed boy with stunning brown coat and a calm, gentle personality. This sweet guy loves spending time outdoors, whether he’s sniffing along on walks or taking in all the sights and smells around him.

Winston walks well on leash and enjoys exploring, though his strength means he’ll do best with a front lead harness or nose loop. While he’s more of an explorer than a toy lover right now, he does have adorable bursts of zoomies that show off his playful side!

He has done well with other dogs at the rescue with proper introductions, keeps his kennel very clean, and would do best in a home with children 12 and older.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion for outdoor adventures and relaxing evenings at home, Winston may be your perfect match. 🐾

They came, they saw, they conquered — and just like that, our Tractor Supply Adoption Event is in the books! 🐾

These cuties started the day full of energy and excitement, and by the end had completely worn themselves out. We’re sure they’ll all be sleeping good tonight, dreaming of applications flooding in from families ready to take them home. ❤️

A huge thank you to Tractor Supply, manager Caitlin, and the entire staff for welcoming us for such a wonderful event and for collecting donations on our behalf. Our animals received so much love and attention, we met so many great people, and had the opportunity to share more about our rescue and mission. It was an all-around fantastic day!

Join us this Saturday at Belleville Tractor Supply from 10 AM–2 PM for a fun-filled adoption event!

Our tentative lineup of adoptable dogs and cats attending is listed below! ❤️

We’ll have several wonderful dogs and cats ready to steal your heart, and Smokey Joe BBQ will be there to help keep your belly full while you visit. 🍖

This sweet 4½-year-old German Shepherd came to us as a stray and was sadly never claimed. Now, this loyal girl is ready to find the loving home she deserves.

🗣️Friendly & Social – Daisy loves people and enjoys attention
🌳Outdoor Girl – She loves relaxing outside in the sunshine or shade
🎾Toy Lover – Often carries around her favorite ball or Kong
🤓Smart & Well-Mannered – Keeps her kennel clean and appears to have great house manners

🐾Independent – Happy to enjoy affection but also relax on her own

🐾 Meet Levi 🐾

Levi is a lovable 2-year-old mixed breed with the sweetest soul. We pulled him from the Romulus Animal Shelter after seeing just how incredibly underweight he was. While we don’t know what led to him becoming so emaciated, one thing is clear — Levi has nothing but love to give. Since arriving in our care, he has already gained 15 lbs and continues to grow stronger every single day.

This handsome boy is best known for his adorable “tippy tappy toes” — his signature little happy dance whenever he sees people he loves. Around here, we’ve nicknamed him our very own Gene Kelly. 💙

Levi is gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s soaking up attention, cuddles, and quality time with his people. As he continues settling in and building confidence, his sweet personality shines brighter every day.

He’s still polishing up a few skills, including leash manners, but he’s making wonderful progress.

Levi is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him thrive and give him the happy ending he deserves. ❤️
