We have some dogs whose medical issues are now under control and we would LOVE to find some adopters to give these dogs the homes they so deserve!
MATILDA... 🩷
Matilda came to BCHS as a stray. She is a shepherd mix, estimated to be 8 years old. Matilda is just the SWEETEST girl! She is very timid. Even though she is visually impaired, she absolutely LOVES her walks! Now that she has discovered what toys are, she loves them! (especially the crinkly ones!) Matilda is diabetic. She requires a special diet along with daily injections of insulin twice a day. Matilda seems to have had a rough life, but she is a fighter and fought hard to get where she is today. She is just looking for a soft place to land with a soft bed, plenty of toys and lots of love.
ZOE…🩷
Zoe is a shepherd mix who arrived at the shelter extremely underweight. She is estimated to be 6 years old. Because she lived on a chain her entire life, she has never been shown love, so she isn’t quite sure how to give it. Zoe is visually impaired and is diabetic. She is on a special diet and requires insulin shots twice daily. Zoe is a big bundle of energy. She absolutely loves toys and squeaky balls. Zoe needs a routine and a patient someone who will teach her what love is and give her the care that she so desperately needs. Could that someone be you?
It is hard enough finding a home for healthy animals let alone finding homes for animals with medical issues.
