💚"Angels with Fur" is a book written by a local author that talks about the story of a girl and her dog. Proceeds go to local rescues.

Happy National Newfoundland Dog Day! Here are some fun facts about Newfies!

🐾They were originally bred and used as a working dog for fishermen in Newfoundland.
🐾They are a multipurpose dog that is a natural swimmer and hauler. They have been used for water rescue and commonly used for patrol on the beaches of France and Italy.
🐾Their webbed feet, double/water-resistant coat, and large/hardy body allows them to thrive as a working dog.

Happy National Westie Day! Here are some fun facts about West Highland Terriers:
🐾They are one of the four Scottish Terriers (along with Cairn Terrier, Scottish Terrier, and Skye Terrier) and originally developed from Cairn Terriers.
🐾They were bred to keep fields and barns clear of small game so their white fur makes them easy to spot.
🐾Although stocky, these dogs are quite fast and agile.
🐾Westies excel in various sports such as agility, obedience, and earth dog trials!
