Companion Cats is a 501(c)(3) non-profit run by volunteers that seek to find homes for unowned cats.

Once spayed our goal is to place them in an environment that best fits each cat. This method provides the most humane living situation possible. Both friendly and feral alike deserve the perfect forever home. If the cat is not very friendly but is homeless, perhaps this means being a “Barn Buddy” or being introduced into a controlled colony. If feral kittens are found, it might mean living in a vo

lunteer foster home where they can be socialized until old enough to be tested for FIV & FeLV, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption.

PLEASE NOTE: Companion Cats is FULL beyond capacity at this time and cannot accept any new intakes. Please call vets, shelters and rescues in larger areas (Kalamazoo, Lansing, Grand Rapids, etc) if you need urgent help. They may be able to refer you to other places.
Also please see our recent post seeking additional reliable volunteers. We are 100% volunteer run and need more help.

In addition, it is likely your call, message, text or email will not get a response due to the overwhelming number of requests we get each day with no ability to assist.
