If you would like to help us walk dogs, fill water bowls, chat with adopters, & spend time with the pooches please shoot us a message! Meet Bean — our happy-go-lucky little gentleman! 🫘💛

At 9 years old and 11lbs, this poodle mix is pure sunshine wrapped in soft curls. Bean absolutely adores his people and will happily follow you from room to room, tail wagging the whole way.

While Bean appears to be mostly blind, don’t let that fool you — this boy gets around EXTREMELY well. He can out-maneuver just about anything in his path and tackles life with the sweetest confidence.

Bean is:

✨ Heartworm negative

He does great with other dogs, has done well with cats, and is simply ready for all the forever lovings he can get.

Meet Fatboy, the sweetest little Pomeranian mix you’ll ever meet! 💛

This 7–8 year old, 15lb fluffball has a heart of gold and a gentle soul. Fatboy loves other dogs, does wonderfully with children, and is happiest when he’s with his people. He may be a little shy when he first meets someone new, but give him a moment and he’ll warm right up—tail wags, soft snuggles, and all.

Fatboy is ready for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who gets along with everyone, this boy is your guy! 🐾💙

Weighing in at 18lbs, this little guy is an absolute doll. Kirby loves his people deeply and will happily follow you from room to room—your built-in shadow and loyal sidekick.

Kirby does wonderfully with other dogs, appears to be house trained, and has the sweetest, most gentle personality. He’s the perfect blend of cuddly, calm, and charming.

He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative—all set and ready for his forever home! 🏡✨

⁉️ Happy Monday, Everyone! This sweetheart was just dropped off at a shelter. He is 13 years old and understandably terrified. Is there anyone who'd be able to drive to the St. Landry Parish shelter in Opelousas to bring him to our Sanctuary? The shelter is beyond max capacity and will have to start making the hard choices. We can't get away during their operating hours, but we don't want him there any longer than he has to be! 🙏

Please Welcome Kirby, Duke, & Daisy to our family!
❤️Kirby is a happy little poodle bichone mix with playful energy and eager for loving he is 4 years old, 🐾Duke is a shy shihtzu mix who is slowly warming up to accept love he is 6 years old, and
🐶Daisy is a loving Yorkie with some medical hurdles in front of her but we know she’ll do great! She is 11 years old. We can’t wait to get these babies all groomed, checked out by our vet, and into their forever laps!

Meet Falcor — a 6–7 month old puppy who found himself lost and cold on a chilly Louisiana night. We were tagged in a post asking for help, and we jumped into action right away.

Falcor was a little rough around the edges when we found him: flea-ridden, a bit mangy, dusty, and so itchy. But with some love and care, he’s already doing so much better. This sweet boy is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. He’s starting to act like a puppy again — playing with toys, wagging his tail, and getting so excited to see someone every morning. He’s a total lovebug who happily asks for attention from everyone he meets.

Falcor is scheduled for his neuter next week, and then he’ll be ready for a forever home where he can continue healing and becoming his best self. He is fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and has started NexGard Plus to help clear up his skin.

Meet Sweetie — our adorable brindle pit mix with a heart as big as her smile! 🤎🐾

When Sweetie first entered rescue, she weighed just 24 lbs, but with love, care, and plenty of good meals, she’s now up to a healthy 36 lbs and looking absolutely wonderful!

Sweetie is around 8–9 years old and is the definition of a lovebug. She lives for attention, belly rubs, and—of course—food. 🍽️❤️

She does well with other dogs, though she can be a little bossy at times, and she’s also done great with children. Sweetie is ready for a family who will adore her, spoil her, and let her shine like the sweet girl she is.

Since our inception in April 2025, we’ve been blessed to rescue over 65 senior pups in need. Each one came to us with their own story — some were the last ones waiting for help in overcrowded shelters, some were surrendered by families facing their own health hardships, and some were found wandering alone with no one to comfort them.

We often find ourselves wondering… where would they be without us?
