Hi everyone, as we all know, even though it may be the holidays dogs never stop needing homes/saving. In fact, rehoming rates are higher than the rest of the year now. With that being said, this momma and her puppies chose us to help and we couldn’t say no (just look at them🫣)!
They needed us and we need you🫵🏻🤗
**We urgently need foster homes for these babies, we supply everything (food, kennel, etc.) all they need from you is time, patience, and an open home 🏡 ❤️🐶

He gets along wonderfully with children, adults, and other dogs, making him a fantastic companion for families and multi-pet households alike. 🏡 He absolutely loves to play fetch with his favorite toys and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, always bringing lots of energy and enthusiasm to playtime.🥰

He walks very well on a leash, making strolls around the neighborhood enjoyable and stress-free.😇 Car rides are another one of his favorite activities, he’s always excited to hop in and go for an adventure.🚗He responds reliably to the “sit” command and we are now teaching him how to shake paws, which he is picking up quickly.📚
With continued training and supervision, he will make a loving and loyal addition to any home.💌🧸🐶🐾

This charming boy is the perfect blend of sweetness and s***k. 🥳 While he can be a bit shy at times (especially around men and teenagers)…he truly shines in the company of other dogs, getting along well with his canine companions. Nash is also doing amazing with house training!🥰

Although the kennel isn’t his favorite place, Nash settles down quietly at night and sleeps peacefully until morning. 😇 He walks nicely on a leash and is eager to please, making him a joy to take on strolls. One of Nash’s favorite things is snuggling up close for some quality cuddle time.🤗 If you’re looking for a loving, loyal friend with a playful spirit, Nash might just be the perfect addition to your family!🏡❤️🐾

He doing great learning how to potty outside or on a puppy pad, making him an easy fit for many homes.

He loves playing with toys—especially if his foster siblings already have one! He’s playful but not overwhelming, just the perfect mix of fun and sweet.

🐕 Leash learning
He’s not a big fan of the leash just yet and would rather be carried, but with patience and practice, he’ll continue to gain confidence.

🎓 Training in progress
He’s currently learning “sit” and is starting to get the hang of it—such a smart little guy!

Merry Christmas from the licking for love team! This is only a tiny glimpse of our little community who helps keep things running. When we first began I worried how I would find my village. Little by little people moved in and out until we got more and more of a steady group who has stuck around! We are just over two years into this thing and couldn’t do it without these ladies and several others not pictured.

Good afternoon, LFL will be closed from today until January 2nd. There will be a semi work day on the 27th to review any new applications and then back to closure throughout the 2nd of January. 😇

Feel free to put in applications during this time, though we close periodically our pups still need homes so we will still be accepting applications. However, any issues or inquiries will be handled after the closure. Thank you for this past year we can’t wait to see what next year brings us!🥳❤️

This sweet baby is a 2year old, 5lb, chihuahua daschund mix who is a bundle of joy to have around. She has already stolen her foster mama’s heart☺️. She absolutely loves to snuggle up next to you and watch christmas movies (though you’ll hear her tiny snores halfway through🥹) But don’t let that fool you if taken home she will be your new shadow, once she feels safe she trusts you with her LIFE. ❤️This baby has a heart of gold, though she is shy as first because of her small size…she loves other furry friends as well as children, making her an excellent fit for most families.🥰

Brownie found herself in foster care at no fault of her own and she was deeply loved, she is ready for her second chance at life.
