Today our Beloved Eeyore crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔🌈 Many of you have seen Eeyore over the years as he became the unofficial mascot of Barking Lots. Eeyore spent 7 months at the Denham Springs Animal Shelter until he came into rescue. Eeyore was approaching his 3rd year in rescue with Dante's Hope - Animal Rescue and we spoiled him like he was our own. Thankfully over the last few months Eeyore was able to relax and enjoy the home life with his foster mama Taylor Paternostro Durr. We are so blessed to have known him and he had such a great amount of people who loved him dearly. While he never officially had a “home” he will always have a special place in our hearts. Unfortunately our sweet man began to slow down and started to show that his old body was tired and painful. He got to see all of his friends and had a full house of people dotting on him through his last day.

We love you Eeyore. We are so honored to have been able to care for and spoil you. ❤️
