One of the questions we get asked most often is “How big will my Australian Labradoodle get?”
So I created this graphic to help show the difference between mini, medium, and standard Australian Labradoodles compared to a 5’6” woman for a more realistic visual! *Notice who she looks like ;)
While every dog is unique, here’s a general idea:
—>Mini: 15–30 pounds. Wonderful for families wanting a more compact furry friend that’s easier to travel with, fits comfortably in any size home, and is a small dog with a big personality
—>Medium: 30–45 pounds. Often considered the “sweet spot” size. Sturdy enough for active families and adventures, while still manageable in everyday life. They’re popular for therapy, emotional support, and family companions.
—>Standard: 45–65+ pounds. Offer bigger cuddles, longer legs, and more substantial presence many families love. While still being known for the gentle, intuitive, people-focused temperament the breed is famous for.
No matter the size, Australian Labradoodles are known for being intelligent, affectionate, family-oriented, and incredibly adaptable.
At Sugar Cane Doodles, we specialize in mini and a will sometimes have medium size puppies. We love helping families find the best temperament that fits their lifestyle. Contact us if you’re looking for your future travel buddy, therapy prospect, or cuddle companion.
