“Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.” These 3 month old kittens prove the book is right. It asserts that men are motivated by feeling needed and women are motivated by feeling cherished. Mars definitely needs your love and Venus longs to be cherished by you. Who needs the book when you’ve got these two. Both are at the shelter eager to write their own chapter books soon.

Minerva was feeling a little unnerved but we assured her everything will be ok. You see, she recently gave birth to 6 kittens and her young little body failed to produce milk. Foster homes to the rescue. Volunteers skilled at the care of newborns and bottle feeding every 2 hours stepped in. Now Minerva needs you to the rescue. She is sweet and affectionate and in need of all the comforts and love of a home. She is at the shelter.

Wear it proud! Here’s your chance to show off your support of our mission. We will be selling our custom shirts at the Zonta Holiday Festival at Batavia Downs this Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. This is a huge vendor event put on by the Zonta Club of Batavia-Genesee. Perfect for early Christmas shopping and a visit from Santa. The jolly man will be there Sunday from 11 to 1. Could you please add a home for all homeless pets to your wish list. Thank you and see you there!

Daisy, Daisy!
Yes I’m half crazy
For the love of dogs and you.
I hope to spend our lives together
And have a happy forever after.
I am so sweet, love everyone I meet.
Please adopt me, my love is true.
(Daisy is a very affectionate 1 year old with a fondness for dogs.).

This is our little friend, Fred. Actually he’s not little at all. Fred is a big, handsome, 6 year old, long haired, tiger. He needed a bit of a shave on his back side and tail due to matts. Thankfully he doesn’t have a mirror but he might approve of his lion tail. Fred is friendly and easy going and would appreciate a companion willing to keep up with his fluffy fur maintenance.

Soft as satin, wrapped in midnight, pretty as lace. Meet Lacy! She is an all around good girl. Lacy is a 7 year old, petite, 33 pound, spayed, housebroken, mixed breed. She is the absolute sweetest. Good with kids, cats and dogs and is a wonderful walker. Lacy is at the shelter.
