Hester has been given 12 to 14 months to live… although she is heartworm negative, her heart is severely damaged. She’s at least 10 years old. She absolutely loves to chase a tennis ball, but then she can’t catch her breath.
We are hoping to find her a home that will throw tennis balls as long as she wants to chase them. Hester doesn’t know she sick…
Her adoption fee is waived, and a lifetime of tennis balls will be included in her adoption …

As much as we love to joke around and bring light to whatever we can, we’re going to get as serious as we can for a moment…. many of you who have to spin the year dial on any forms like it’s The Big Wheel on TPIR, are quite familiar with our friend pictured here. The forecast tells us that he’s visiting the Memphis area tomorrow and acting like we owe it money. PLEASE take care of yourselves and your loved ones and pets in this crisis. Limit outdoor activities to only a few, short minutes, keep water handy and keep hydrated. ❤️‍🩹🐾
