Just a friendly reminder, with the Country`s 250th 4th of July coming up. If you are camping or traveling or just attending your local Fireworks display, make arrangements for your dogs. If you are at home, put the dogs in the basement or in their crate for the night. If you are traveling or camping, you can put the dogs in a crate in your vehicle and throw a blanket or tarp over the vehicle so the dog cannot see the fireworks. If you are going to local fireworks, leave your dogs at home. July 4th is the worst day of the year for our pets. July 5th is the busiest day for organizations like Lost Dogs of Wi. Leave your dogs at home, Nothing Good is Going to Happen by taking them to fireworks shows.

Gio update: We found another perfect home for Gio the Italian Waterdog. He is now living with dear friends of ours, he loves water, so now he has his own pond to swim in, and acerage to roam free on, and a 4 wheeler to run with. He will live in a gorgeous home near Baraboo during the summer and live on the water in Florida during the Winter. Gio is happy as a clam and so are his new owners.

Ranger update. Ranger was adopted by a wonderful family and is enjoying life to the fullest. I think we found the perfect home for him.

I have been boarding this dog for the last 24 days, today I was told the owner passed away. So we are looking for a loving home for Ranger. I do not know how old he is at this time but I would say 8 yrs old. He is intact and current on all vaccinations. He has a very mellow temperament.
