Gold Coast in February marked a quiet but important start to our 2026 season ✨

It was just me and ℚ𝕦𝕒𝕝𝕔𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕠 ℙ𝕊 (Danny) getting back in the ring, focusing on the basics, and laying down the foundation for what’s ahead. No big expectations—just quality rides, building confidence, and getting back into our rhythm together.

To top it off, we took home both the 1.05 Open and 1.10 Open division championships 🏆 And stepped into our first 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 1.20 in the $500 1.20 Stake, finishing 3rd—an exciting milestone for us.

These early shows are always about the long game, and Danny stepped up exactly how I hoped. Feeling excited for what’s to come this season 💫

Yeah yeah… we know 😅 our first show of the 2026 season recap is a little overdue—but here it is!

February 1st took us to with 5 riders ready to kick off the season strong 💪🐎

Ashley and HVS On My Honor gained great experience in the Walk•Trot divisions.
Brenda and Wall Street, Aerie and HVS Incognito, and Hayden and HVS Alice Cooper all had fantastic rounds in the Crossrails, each bringing home top placings across their classes.

Aerie and HVS Incognito topped it off with a Reserve Championship in the Open Crossrail Hunters 🏅

Isla and Singing N Danzin took on the 2’3” Hunters and stepped up to the 2’6” for the first time—earning Reserve Champion in both divisions! 🔥

So proud of this team and all the hard work that’s already paying off 💙

Huge thank you to for kicking off such a great show series—we can’t wait for the next one in June!

February 2010 should’ve brought me a Blue Diamond💎 foal… but life had other plans. That foal would’ve been 16 this year—crazy to think about!

16 years later, I finally get my Blue Diamond baby. Meet Ronnie (formerly Opera), 7 years young and officially part of the High Voltage family! 💙 Don’t worry—homage to his lineage will continue when it’s time for him to show.

He’s not out of my heart horse, but I’m still beyond excited for this unexpected chapter. Can’t wait to see what’s in store—stay tuned for the glow-up! ✨

Forgot to post this!

There was a bit of conspiring against me at the Fall Fun Schooling Show at last October😏

Danny (Qualciento PS) and I were walking into what I thought was my final 1.15m round (I was the only one in the class). Little did I know, my coach , show management along with , and the judge had all agreed to quietly set more than half of my course to 1.20m… without telling me.

It ended up being such a great round — it felt amazing. As I came back to the walk, I looked at Lacy and yelled, “YOU DID IT, didn’t you?!” I knew immediately, because honestly… it’s something I would’ve done too 🤣

Just like that, Danny and I had jumped our first 1.20m round together, and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to everyone who pushes me, believes in me, and keeps me on my toes 😜

And to make it even better, walked up just in time to see it all 💙

Hayden Shields had a strong showing at the Turkey Trot & Jump at , November 13–16, navigating the rainy and muddy conditions with focus and determination.

Hayden and HVS Alice Cooper delivered consistent rounds in the Crossrails division, demonstrating control, confidence, and steady performance throughout the weekend.

We’re so proud of their effort, consistency, and teamwork all weekend!
