I sometimes question God's compassion his existence his forever love for us....today I can say because of Maryann truly my very best friend and the fact that he brought her and James into my life almost 28 years ago makes me 100% believe that God does take care of us and knows what we need....Maryann walked up to my parents barn where Steve Pate and I were living starting a training business and she said I don't want to be ur friend I just want to pay u to feed my horse and ride it that's it...oh and if I show I don't want to be last...our friendship started then and only grew stronger....she and James helped me build this place Hart Ranch should have been called Hart & Housholder....maybe the three "H's"....she was by my side for all of my lives trials every accomplishment every disappointment every success every failure every horse I ever rode or showed every mile we ever hauled every kid we ever taught every dream that came true every heartbreak that didn't....we could do anything together we were the dynamic duo....id say we need to do this or that she'd always look at me with that great smile and say "what u got a mouse in ur pocket" or I'd say it's only going to take a minute and she'd nod at me with the same smile and say "yeah I've heard that before" which she had a million times but she was always next to me she was my right arm she was constant she was funny witty
smart strong kind honest passionate loyal and true thru and thru....we traveled so many many miles she saddled so many horses for me we taught so many kids we bred and foaled so many babies we lived thru some of the hardest and some of the best times in our lives together and no matter what I knew she was my very bestest friend....God truly blessed me by bring her into my life like she and Bo did for so many others I just know without a doubt that I would not be the person I am or have done all that I did without her and James Housholder thank u for always supporting and helping us u made so many of her dreams come true u were our rock thank u for always sharing her with me and being my family....u both taught me unconditional love something I'm not sure I ever deserved yet so extremely blessed I got to experience God truly blessed me with the two of u....until I see u again my true friend measure ur reins ride Bo watch Cushy run love my Buddy dog and all the many others we have loved over the years someday we'll be the dynamic duo again....
