Starting Nov 9.
Reach out now to get a spot!

Mack and Molly are boarding with me and they get to live their best lives out here because they're e-collar trained.
Cue the, "omg, Skyler just teach them a regular recall."
I did. It's excellent.

HOWEVER they had never seen goats before and their initial reaction was concerning.

I take EVERYONE'S safety very seriously, that includes my goats.

Without the e-collar I would've had to keep them on long lines for at least a couple days to proof their recall around the goats.

"What's a couple of days?"

If you were on vacation would you want to spend half of it proofing your multiplication skills because there's math on the other side of the property? (Ok, bad analogy but you get it)

Or... would you want someone to be like, "Nah, don't worry about that math, it doesn't need to be solved, leave it alone."

Unless it's pouring, we're still having class on Oct 31 at 9am.
However, Riverside Park is still closed so I'll be out looking for a new place today.
There's still space if anyone wants to join!

If you are waiting on a reply, I'll get there, I promise.
I said goodbye to sweet Remy, spent most of the day deep cleaning the Doggie Condo (I now understand why most kennels are minimalist) and picked up Mack and Molly.
You may recognize them from one of my off leash recall programs. We'll be brushing up on it a little.

All of this to say: Boarding and Board and Trains are officially closed for the year and I'll respond to your messages ASAP.

Love, Skyler

If your goal is a dog who doesn't get dirty... I'm the wrong trainer for you.
If your goal is a Doggy Robot.... I'm not the trainer for you.
But if your goal is:
A dog who can have a blast AND listen to you.
A dog who can self regulate and calm down.
A dog who can be off leash and stay with you.

I'm the one your looking for.

Remy and Bear are helping me figure out what Day School will look like!

10/24/2026

Hey everyone, I know that people are desperate to help so here are a few suggestions that don't include putting yourself in danger and causing more issues for first responders.

- Go through your closets. People will need clothes/shoes.
- Go through your pantries. People will need food.
- Go through your pets stuff. People will need leashes, collars, kennels, food, etc.

As someone whose seen similar disasters there's always a huge influx of people willing to help at the beginning and then after a few days they go back to their lives.
Don't burn yourself out, this will have an impact for a long time.

Dearest clients and future clients,
I've had an epiphany!
I will be transitioning outings and day training to Day School!

What does that mean?

I'll be picking up your dog in the morning, we'll do adventures, work on their 'stuff', and socializing for those who can, then bringing them back in the evening.

This will not be day care. This will be structured learning for up to 3 dogs per weekday.

I'm still ironing out the details but let me know if you want in!
