Its really unfortunate when dogs come in matted! The last thing we want to do is shave them. However its painful to dematt the entire body and cruel. Matting can cause so many health issues from hot spots to actually sores in the skin. Maintaining a doodle starts at home with a metal comb, requires regular 4 to 6 week appointments, and handling.

Again we never want to shave your dog, we always want to do what is in the dogs best interest.
