The boys are all dressed up and ready for the 4th of July!

🐶🎆🐈Tips to help get your pets through the fireworks:
• Play soft music or their favorite tv show
• Offer a frozen kong treat for distraction
• Anxiety vest, Thunder Shirts, Happy Hoodie, noise cancelling ear muffs may help
• If medication is needed, please give us a call. A trial run prior to fireworks can make sure we have the right medication and dose for your pet.
• If your pet is not microchipped, now is a great time to get that done. Also, make sure contact information is up to date with the microchip company.
• Provide a safe place to hide
• Don’t reinforce anxiety or scared behaviors. Avoid coddling or punishment. Use positive reinforcement for calm behavior. Provide comfort while redirecting attention to positive activites.

We are excited to introduce you to Dr. Natalia Sanchez, who will join our team on June 30th! Dr Sanchez will be a wonderful addition to Circle C Animal Hospital family.

Hello! My name is Dr. Natalia Sanchez, and I am a new graduate veterinarian from Colorado State University.

I grew up in Edinburg, Texas where I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since I was a little girl. I love animals but I have always loved people just as much. Veterinary medicine was the perfect place to bridge both. I love building lasting relationships with families and helping them make informed decisions about their pets' care.

I have a special interest in preventative medicine, nutrition, dermatology and client education. Whether it's a puppy's first visit, or a stressful sick visit, I feel honored to be part of every stage of your pet's life.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my 7-month-old daughter who keeps life joyful and busy! I'm so happy to be back in Texas, enjoying the warm weather, great food, and friendly faces. This summer I hope to learn how to paddleboard!

I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

It is bittersweet to announce that as of Friday, June 20th, Dr. Richard Rafferty has retired from practicing veterinary medicine. He has asked us to thank the most wonderful clients any DVM has had the privilege to work with... it has been a great honor.

The team will miss him greatly. We will strive to carry on the legacy he has created at Circle C Animal Hospital. His mission, since opening day, has been to provide the highest level of veterinary medical care to our patients and the most outstanding, compassionate, and friendly service to our clients. Dr. Clint Duncan, Dr. Bailey Smith, and Dr. Trish Auge are here to continue on that mission. We are excited to have a new doctor starting at the end of the month (announcement coming soon).

Please join us in wishing Dr. Rafferty the best in his new chapter.
