✨ Exciting news, Circle C family! ✨

Please help us give a warm welcome to Dr. Lauren Taylor, who will officially be joining our veterinary team on May 26th! 🩺🐾

Dr. Taylor earned her DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and spent several years practicing as a mixed animal veterinarian in the Texas Hill Country, caring for all kinds of animals. She’s especially passionate about client education, dental surgery, and internal medicine, helping pets live healthier, happier, and more comfortable lives.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her traveling, baking, or spending time with her husband, Bryan, and their dog, Ash. 🐶

We’re so excited for our community to get to know Dr. Taylor and for her to begin caring for your beloved pets. 📣 Dr. Taylor's schedule is available to book through our online portal or by calling the office — we can’t wait for you to officially meet her!

🐾 Fur Family Friday — fashionably late, just like a cat. 🐱 Alison's dynamic duo, Mama & Ziggy, found her during the pandemic and never looked back. Mama: rescued from a Blanco field, now a connoisseur of cozy beds and full bowls. Ziggy: found on Hwy 290 as a tiny baby, now a seasoned hunter who brings home "presents" to prove his love. Different personalities, same mission — to be completely and utterly adored. 🏡💕

🐾 April is National Heartworm Awareness Month — and we're using it as a reminder to protect the pets you love!

Heartworm disease is caused by parasitic worms spread through mosquito bites. It affects both dogs AND cats, and if left untreated, it can cause serious heart, lung, and organ damage.

The good news? It's 100% preventable.

✅ A simple monthly preventative keeps your pet protected year-round
✅ Annual heartworm testing catches any issues early
✅ Prevention is far easier — and less costly — than treatment

Talk to us at your next visit, or give us a call at 512-288-5888 to get your pet started on prevention today. Because when it comes to heartworm, the best cure is never needing one.

The recently released 2026 Heartworm Incidence Map shows that canine heartworm incidence has expanded to areas that are cooler, drier and far from the warmer, humid Gulf Coast and Southeast. The American Heartworm Society estimates that at least 1.1 million dogs in the U.S. are positive for heartwor...

🐾It’s Fur Family Friday! Meet Peter! 🩵🫶🏼

Peter is Dr. Smith’s 2 and 1/2 year old kitty. He’s most likely the most spoiled cat on the planet, given that he’s the only child of his two veterinarian parents. He loves being Dr. Smith’s reading buddy 📖 and cuddle bug 🥰, loves getting his energy and crazies out with his dad 🤪, and has thoroughly been loving his new catio! It has made his bird watching dreams come true. ✨

He definitely doesn’t let his heart disease stop him as you can find him zooming 💨 and “monkey running” 🐒 up and down the long hallway at random times. Between bird watching, going on stroller rides, cuddling, and playing, he’s one busy dude! 🐾

🧀 Meet the charCUTEiery board! 🧀

Happy Caturday! 🐾 Meet Loki, our 9-week-old, 2 lb bundle of bravery! 🐱✨ She got her first vaccines yesterday with Dr. Smith — and absolutely nailed it. She received a clean bill of health AND a future career as a Super Meowdel! We'd say that's a purrfect first vet visit! 🌟 We can't wait to see Loki again next month for her boosters. 💉🐾

🐾 Happy ! Meet Kelly's crew — three rescue success stories with very different personalities.

Charles & Marie are foster fails in the best possible way. Their mama was a stray who came in pregnant, and Kelly never stood a chance. The whole litter was named after scientists 🔬 — Marie lives up to her namesake: elegant, poised, and social (she just needs a quick face sniff to verify you're worthy). Charles… well, he's more of a work in progress on the genius front. 😂

Ellie the pug was found painfully underweight on the streets of east Austin. You'd never guess it looking at her now — she's made it her life's mission to be within cuddling distance of literally anyone, at all times, convenient or not. She adores kids, loves other dogs, and considers any unattended food a personal invitation. 🐷

From skinny street pup to bonafide cuddle monster, and from foster kittens to permanent family — these three are living proof that the best pets find their way home. 🏡❤️
