Billie spent the day at Research Pet and Bird Hospital to figure out why she's been in pain.
The good news is we got a diagnosis. The bad news is, it's her hip (first x-ray; the other is for comparison, though I can't read either of them!).
We're starting with pain meds, but ultimately, she might need a hip replacement. Poor Billie has already had back surgery. We're hoping we can figure out how to help her live in comfort without another surgery, but we'll do whatever she needs.
Please, please help if you can. This bill is paid because others are going unpaid. We really need all the help we can get.

Billie's happy to be back in her foster home enjoying a bully stick and we are so grateful to Josh for fostering so Billie is not going through this while living in a kennel!
Hi from Sarge! Hope you all are staying safe as you help all the fur (and non-fur) babies!
Thank you Dr. Skellenger for taking care of Ozzie and CeeCee today. The boys are doing well after their dentals and extractions today. We appreciate all that you do for them and all of our kiddos. Dental care is so very important to our dogs and cats overall health and making sure everything is done right is critical. I rest easy knowing that you do it all the right way! You know how picky I am knowing what I know, so thank you!
Felix was diagnosed with small cell lymphoma in June, 2016. His prognosis (with chemotherapy) was about 2 years. It's been over 2 years now, so every day is truly a blessing to have him in our lives. He's almost 16 years old now, has cancer, diabetes, pancreatitis, and a heart murmur, but THANKS to Dr. Skellenger and staff, he is enjoying a "sun puddle" today (August, 2018).
Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.
Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.
Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Veterinarian, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Veterinarian in our local Welcome Kits.
It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 55% of new residents and families seek out a new Veterinarian shortly after their relocation. As such, more than one-half of our Welcome Kit recipients are actively looking for a new Vet.
I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.
Please reply with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience.
For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me on my cell which is listed in my signature.
Thanks.
