I’m so proud of Bo—congratulations! I could just take you home! Your mom has put an incredible amount of time into working with you, and you’re both so lucky to have each other. You’re becoming calmer and more predictable, thanks to your mom and your quick wit. I can’t wait to see how much more you progress.

Aria is learning how to stay and wait patiently behind the blue line so she doesn't run out the front door!

Welcome to Bo, short for Bozeman! He is a mix of English and American Labrador. Bo’s mom reached out because he's been getting too excited and showing big-emotion behaviors like growling, demanding barking, and jumping. We are working on improving his emotional state around people in the house and, later, in the store. His mom is very proud of him and dedicated to completing two dog training classes under their belt; which makes training with Fetch Worthy a good fit.

Bo was trained with a shock collar for a time while dove hunting.

During our session, I couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable he is when he parades around the house with his duck toy and "talks" about it.

In our second session, a chewy has really helped him focus. He is currently working on the command "Stay" and learning to use his nose to search, which helps him decompress during guest visits. We are also staying strong in ignoring his demand barking, and it is working!

Fetch Worthy uses Force-Free methods for training.

This means:

Positive Reinforcement**: Rewarding good behavior with treats, play, or praise to encourage repeat actions.

No Aversives**: Avoiding tools or methods that cause discomfort or pain.

Choice and Consent**: Giving animals autonomy and creating an environment that fosters their success.

Watch this in slow motion.

It took me several attempts to perfect this short lob toss. The incredible Kai reaches far to catch it with his mouth. We had such an impressive session back in 2020. I love that guy! It's been about three years since his last jump off the dock diving ramp. His last swim session was with Douglass and Bridgett, just a shallow swim and walk into the beach pool.
