PLEASE SHARE THIS POST* to help Crash find his forever home!!!
The time has finally come to find crash his new family!!! So here’s a little bit about him…
Crash is a one year old cattle dog who’s neutered and fully vaccinated.
He has been off leash trained and knows the following behaviors…
Walk calmly at your side, aka “Heel”.
Sit- stay at the door before going out to play.
Down-stay in a public setting as people and dogs walk by.
Place- stay while I eat dinner and when guests come over to prevent jumping.
Fully crate and potty trained.
“Here” to get him to come back off leash.
“Off” to get off of furniture.
“Drop” to let go of toys.
“No” for behaviors like jumping or mouthing.
Crash plays really well with dogs with similar energy and play styles. He can be rough and wants to herd other dogs but has learned more boundaries and respect through training. He’s been socialized to a cat and shows lots of interested in wanting to play although my cat does not reciprocate the same feelings.
He LOVES playing tug o war, chasing a frisbee or ball, and learning new tricks. He is super food motivated which has made training a breeze.
He would make the perfect hiking companion as he naturally checks in on walks and has a near perfect recall.
There will be a $500 adoption fee for Crash which includes a Dogtra Cue ecollar for keep up with his training, one hour private training lesson with me to learn all his commands, one bag of dog food, and a Wild Dogs treat pouch and hands free leash! All the things to make transitioning to a new home a smooth process!
Comment below if you want the link to his adoption application!

Linda is available for adoption!
She is a 16 (ish) week old Boxer mix!
Fully vaccinated and spayed.
Linda is crate trained and sleeping through the night, as long as she stays in a routine she doesn’t have any potty accidents inside.
She’s been introduced to obedience commands such as loose leash walking, sit, place, and coming when called.
She’s been socialized to dogs and cats, all of which she absolutely loves! She’s got lots of toy drive with potential to be a great frisbee dog. This girl is extremely confident and smart, she picks up on training very fast and over comes new obstacles with ease. With as much energy as she has, she’s also the best snuggle buddy!

How to choose the best training program for your dog….
Board & Train:
In this program your dog will live in home or at a training facility. During this time the trainer works towards teaching your dog basic obedience commands.
This type of program is best suited for the person with a busy lifestyle that may not have time to do the daily repetition work that is required for a dog to learn. The benefit of this type of program is someone else taking over to teaching faze so you get to step in at the end and work on the maintenance part of training. HOWEVER, it is important to mention that just because you send your dog to training does not mean they will come back to you “fixed” or perfect. There is still work for the owner to do after a board and train program but it tends to be much easier once the dog understands the commands.
Private Lessons:
This type of program is great for someone who wants to learn along side their dog. In this program the trainer is instructing the human how to train their dog. The big benefit to this style of training is gaining an education on how to train commands from the very beginning. The downfall to this style of program is that it may take longer because you are learning how to handle you dog which takes time and practice.
When deciding between the two it really comes down to how much time you have to dedicate to your dog on a daily basis. There is no wrong choice, it’s all up to you and your pup!
For those of you that are new to my page, allow me to re-introduce myself!
My name is Morgan Starr, I am a Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist located in Austin, Texas! I have been training dogs for the past 7 years for various companies and in 2021 I started my very own business, Wild Dogs!
I’ve trained professional hunting dogs, dock diving, trick training, and frisbee work! I’ve dabbled in a few different dog worlds but I also come back to the basics, pet dogs!
I think what makes me a unique trainer is my ability to train the HUMANS!! Anyone can train dogs, it’s the humans that tend to be a little tricky, haha! My number one goal is to educate dog owners on how to give their pup a more fulfilling life through proper communication. The more people I educate the more happy dogs the world has! 🌈🐾

GOOD LUCK 🤞
Believe it or not, YOU are a reward!
I see too many dog owners giving their dog love and affection for all kinds of behaviors, good and bad. The attention you give your dog reinforces the behavior they are displaying.
If you love on your dog when they jump on you, it reinforces jumping.
If you chase after your dog when they play keep away, it reinforces running away.
If you give your dog snacks from your plate, it reinforces table begging.
You don’t have to reply on treats to get your dog to behave. Instead, ignore/correct the bad behaviors and give your love and affection to the more positive ones.
Use your love and affection to your advantage and stop giving it out for free!
It’s official, WE’RE MOVING!!!!
Thanks to all the growth and support Wild Dogs has received this year, my fiancé and I are able to take the next step in our lives and move to a 20 acre ranch!!!!!!! Don’t worry, we are still located in Hutto and in a more convenient location close to the toll road.
SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES!!!!
I want to thank all of my clients for trusting me with their dogs and getting me to this point of growth. I hope to open up a few more spots so previous clients will always have a safe place to bring their dog when they are away.
We will be moving within the next two weeks and I will update y’all once we’re settled. I am so excited to share this journey with you!!!
Let’s get Wild Dogs 🌈🐾
My dog Scout hates fireworks! Here’s my yearly routine to prepare her for the night.
1. I take her for a long hike during the day to tire her out physically.
2. I feed her an early dinner to make sure she has plenty of time to go to the bathroom before nightfalls.
3. I prepare a lick mat with her favorite treats on it (pumpkin, peanut butter, yogurt, mashed blueberries) and put it in the freezer. When a dog licks it releases endorphins and helps soothe anxiety.
4. By 9pm, I put her in her crate with the lick mat and her favorite blanket. I cover the crate with another blanket so she can’t see out.
5. I play classical music in the background along with a loud fan to drown out the sounds of fireworks.
For dogs with extreme anxiety you can give melatonin to help them relax and fall asleep. Administer 1mg of melatonin per 20 pounds of your dogs weight.
✨ HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE ✨

How to train multiple dogs at a time… Go slow, add each dog one at a time, and most importantly be patient. This is a perfect way to socialize dogs who haven’t met before! This helps them get to know each other in a calm manner rather than it being crazy playtime. #dogtraining #puppytraining #balanceddogtraining #atxdogs #dogstagram
