Are you looking for a cat to help you take over the world? Meet Tofu (7423)! Tofu might have murder in his eyes, but there's love in his heart (eventually)! Tofu was surrendered to the Austin Animal Center, and he's not very happy there. He'd do best in a quiet home where he can plot world domination in peace with his person. You can meet Tofu in kennel E23 if you're ready for a new bestie with resting murder face! He's available for foster or adoption!

ADOPT ME! Claw-rence is an unbelievably affectionate young man with an affinity for snacks and tummy rubs! Abandoned outside by his previous owners, he is quickly re-learning what a full belly, a soft place to sleep, and readily available pets feel like. Of course, he approaches some foreign experiences (being in close proximity to the running shower, hearing dogs barking outside, etc.) with caution, but returns to his normal activities within minutes - never hiding or hissing, simply watching very closely. Claw-rence is possibly the most friendly, resilient, and tolerant cat I have ever met. I believe he would be a wonderful companion in almost any home, likely even those with kids!

*Claw-rence was brought inside yesterday (04/07), so he has not visited the vet yet. From my observations, it seems that he is not neutered and has a moderate flea infestation. Likely due to itching from his fleas, he has 4-6 small (less than nickel-sized) hairless patches on his arms and abdomen. I have filled out an application with an animal shelter for him to receive care while residing in my home. This will likely include a wellness exam, vaccinations, FELV/FIV testing, treatment of his fleas, a neuter surgery, and investigation of any other health concerns that may be found. If you are interested in Claw-rence, but have some reservations about the status of his health, please consider still reaching out. I am happy to see him through his medical needs before adoption!

Spaghetti is an incredibly sweet 9-year-old boy, who is looking for his furrever home! He’s lived with small dogs before and seems interested in other cats. He’s a low-key guy, who lives to cuddle and explore. Meet him today in kennel H30 at the Austin Animal Center!

Looking for a new best friend? Sweet one-year-old Gigi is the one for you! She's very talkative and loves to snuggle. Gigi has lived with dogs and children previously. She is spayed, chipped and all shots are up to date.

ADOPT ME! 10-month-old Billie is blind but that doesn’t stop her from living life to the fullest. She demands kisses and cuddles, and she will seek you out for affection. She’s great at navigating her space, but, of course, she should be kept indoors with minimal fall risks. Billie, who has the cutest bobtail, enjoys playing with toys and loves being with people. AAC is closed today due to the holiday, but meet her tomorrow in kennel E6!

Petite Belizean girl Lluvia is ready to start her next adventure with you! She started her life on the island of Caye Caulker in Belize and is now in Austin looking for her furrever home. This sweet and friendly 7-month-old girl is leash trained and loves to go outside. She also loves to play with toys and birdwatch.
