The very face of Highrocks first Ambassador woof ...that made our profile photo-the dearest ,most sweet girl ,Raven has made it across the rainbow bridge..shortly after her 15th birthday. She had been a part of Highrock her entire lifetime. She was lifetime companion to Namid, who had made his journey july if 2024 to hemangiosarcoma💔. Raven was a favorite of many who met her..she was a beautiful ,stubborn, sweet,resilient soul that had a huge sensitive heart. She had begun experiencing kidney failure and it became incapable of standing on her own i had to assist her around for a couple of weeks,hand fed her and made sure her bed was comfy. A couple of mornings ago, i went out with coffee in hand as i had every morning - to make my rounds checking on the furkids. My heart sank..i saw her fighting and struggling to stand..unable to use her rear legs at all. M board and I had made an emergency decidion..tears flowing and i didnt want it to be true.It was time...to say goodbye to our Raven girl.
My hearts heavy..the enclosure at my front door is vacant of her anxious greetings and whistling howls. She will be greatly missed...

Finally...😀🙏..we are about to have an Amazon Wishlist!!( The furkids love the surprises they get from followers!!!)the excitement on thier lil faces makes us so happy❤️🥰! We appreciate our friends providing enrichment and resources for these spoiled critters. Id love to be able yo post your name for the contribution,a pic of the toy being enjoyed. Nothing quite says " i love you" like a place FULL of exploded toy stuffigs🤣

*UPDATE-LOOKS LIKE A MALE*
here is currently a beautiful white husky/ shepherd mix at cvs in Gadsden..shes been there a few days,running loose. Owner commented on his post in a local fb group but has not picked her up. 💔... PLEASE do not label that dog as a wolf .or even a wolfdog- it is NEITHER. It will endanger the poor animal even farther. We are not able to take in dogs and are a specialty,private sanctuary. We are not an animal shelter. Please message local rescue groups.i m not able to help in any way,our enclosures are full at my place. I will yry to update this post with a pic in a few minutes if anyone can help,please contact me. I may be able to supply catchpole etc to try and round her up.

Sigurd wanted to ask you all to donate toward his necessity for " rough tough" toys . His efforts to landscape the yard look more like a storm took the tops of the saplings and shrubs off😄🤣... Could you spare a bit of change toward his enrichment? 🙏🙏🙏🙏😆..( thanks in advance from his mommy who hoped to keep a few live trees on site🤣).we will be setting up an Amazon wish list today❤️🐺..for anyone who would love to see videos or pics of thier fav critters enjoying gifts from thier audience! We are reaching out in hopes that you will like,share and help us get much needed resources for the animals here at Highrock! During the past few years,our hand- me - down fencing and materials used to get us relocated during the pandemic..have begun needing complete replacement. We are in drastic need of dig guard materials,lumber( treated plywood included) and screws to reconstruct houses, 4x4 treatedposts to reset enclosures, more fencing panels to expand enclosures( we just grew several residents more). We need high dtrength concrete mix, an awning built for storing tools out of the weather. If you know of any materisls we can use- please dont hesitate to reach out to us! If you can donate...i will add links below for you to utilize🙏❤️!!

Good afternoon,friends! Highrock needs your support!! We had just taken in in and rescuing 2 coydogs from really bad circumstances,and one requires alot if veterinary care. So far we have utilized 400 in funds to begin lil Xansas wound care and facing possible surgeries on her leg in near future. We depend on funding and our donors like you to make everything happen and provide resources for the sanctuary animals. We also are facing outstanding bills for our meat kitchen/ shed payment and utilities to maintain the use of multiple freezers to store the meat for the sanctuary residents. Hey,everyone! WE HOPE ALL IS WELL☺️. SPRINGTIME is here!!! My friends and family,volunteers will be needed a couple of days a week ( a few hours here and there)to begin the great DEFLOOFING! several of our fuzzballs are starting to blow thier coats and will need help shedding the wool. Pm me for details if youd like to get covered in woofer hair soon😩😄🐺.Kohanna here working his friends over says hes ready to lose 20 pounds and get his summer body going 🤣.

We have so much catching up to do! Ive missed being able to share the new members of Highrocks pack at the sanctuary! Last year was one of the busiest years for rescues ive had in a very long time😢 . Here are the faces of the furkids we saved that are with us gor the remainder of thier lives..❤️❤️❤️🥰. Remember- we couldnt save them without the dedication and committment of our supporters. We are furever grateful for the ones who step in to make these volatile rescues possible🐺
