We spent the past week at the World Equestrian Center in Ohio. It was definitely a week full of lots of major Ups and Downs. But nevertheless the learning that came from each moment was worth it! I was so proud of every member of our team for putting in their best effort!
🥳 Elsie Lawson and Paul braved their first ever 3.3 ft Junior rounds with Success!
🥳 Elaina Smith and Jimmy moved up to the Jr/Am 1.0 meter division and also the 3ft Children's Hunters!
🥳Kennedy Harris and Bruno had a great start to the week but an unfortunate fall in the derby Friday kept them from competing the rest of the weekend.
🥳Katie and Halo Had a successful week in the 2.9 ft Modified Children's Hunters for the first ever try at an "A" show.
🥳Tessa and Louie were on fire and had a Clean sweep in the 1.15 meter jumpers, won the 1.15 meter jr/AO classic and was 7th in their first ever 1.30 meter Future Prix
🥳Rachel Rodecker and Axel had a tough week but we learned how to help him with his anxieties going forward! This is a new pair and the shows prove the best time for real learning.
🥳Sydney Nelis and Princeton also had a tough week but I was so proud of their determination. It's been a few years since we have all shown together so looking forward to getting back on track.

pdate 11/11: she is doing great. Eating, dinking, bright and alert. She had some issues with diarrhea but that seems to be getting better as well. Hopefully news of a no longer displacement will come!

Our sweet Dia could use some prayer warriors tonight. She has come down with colic. Under our vets recommation, she was taken to Caesars Equine and found to have a displaced Kidney and Collin. They are administering a drug that should reduce the size of her kidney by half to help everything find its way back to normal. But definitely not out of the Woods yet. 🤎🤞

We are looking for a hard working and reliable person to help us a few days a week with stalls, turnout, and general daily maintenance. Experience is preferred. We welcomed our new boy and future lesson horse today! Everyone please meet Arlo! Registered name Arrogate's Spirit. He's a 6 year 16.2 OTTB we adopted from New Vocations in Lexington! So far we have had a wonderful experience with this program and are really excited to get to know our new boy!

We had an amazing weekend at the World Equestrian Schooling Show! Tessa and Louie had great rounds in the jr/am 1.10 division winning all but 1 class and coming home Champion, Elsie and Paul had a great 1st bigger show away from home winning the 12-14 eq and coming home reserve Champion 12-14 eq. Also, and 8th place finish in tough company on their first hunter derby! Elaina and Jimmy had a nice start in the jumper ring then had a few troubles and they both over came them beautifully for a second place finish in the Children's Hunters! Rosalie and Benetaur kept in pushing through a tough weekend and ended up 7th on the flat and 6th over fences on the Long Stirrup eq division! So very proud of everyone persistence this weekend! Congratulations to all and thank you WEC for another wonderful show experience!

We had a wonderful time this weekend at the IHJA Annual Show!!!! Congratulations to all of our riders! Izzy and Zorro braved the big 2ft ring for the first time with amazing success and accuracy on their leads! Monica and Meiana were a smashing success as well winning a lot of their short Stirrup classes! Rosalie and Benetaur continued to grow as the weekend progressed and really achieved some nice rounds by the end of the weekend. Cami and Chaplin had their first away show together and also had some nice top place finishes in the Long Stirrup divisions! Elaina and James had very correct rounds with a few unfortunate rails as well as some beautiful rounds in the hunters. This duo just keeps getting better and better. And last but not least Kennedy Harris and Bruno took the WIN in the IHJA 2.6 Medal Finals yesterday!!! This pair has just come so far, as have all the pairs that showed this weekend! I'm so proud of everyone for their hard work and dedication! It's paying off! Also, I'm a terrible photographer. I always forget the photos! I need someone to follow me around taking pictures. So very sorry.

I do also want to say a special thanks to my daughter Tessa. She just works so hard right by my side day in and day out. I just couldnt ask forbanything more than to work side by side with my daughter and husband each day to continue to achieve our family goals. And of course to Justin Husband as well. Holding down the fort at home and helping us with all the other things!
