Happy Tuesday from Phoebe! ☀️ This girl is a 5 year old White Swiss Shepherd, and she is here for 6 weeks to reset some obedience and work on overall training. She’s only been here for 2 days, but this fluffy cloud is already so sweet and fun! We can’t wait to work with her during her stay and get her back on track 😎

One of the best smiles I think we’ve seen checked in for her 4 week board and train this week!! This is Sheeva, a 3 year old Rottweiler! This girl is an excitable bundle of joy, and she is here to work on, well….being an excitable bundle of joy 😂 Sheeva will be working on basic obedience and will also get to look forward to off leash training! We can’t wait to see how she progresses!

Meet our newest goofball Jersey! This guy is here with us for 6 weeks to work through some reactivity and more clear obedience. Jersey is with us every Monday through Friday and as a part of our 6 week program, he gets to go home for the weekend and work on everything he learned through the week with his family. He has been enjoying his walks and we look forward to seeing his progress 😎

Let’s talk about a transformation!! This is Nova, a rescue Bully mix. She was here for our 8 week behavior modification program specifically designed for dogs who truly need a new behavioral foundation with almost everything. You will see in the first video that Nova was on a walk while Sydni our trainer wore a whole bite suit! This was Nova’s first day with us. Needless to say, she was having a tough time adapting. For the safety of everyone involved, we use bite suits and other protective gear if we feel a dog has a high likelihood of reacting aggressively. But that doesn’t mean Nova didn’t get to go for walks or be trained! For the beginning of Nova’s time with us, she was a pretty sketchy dog to handle, and would act reactive and unsure towards pretty much everything. We were truly starting from scratch with this girl and worked diligently to show her the world is actually pretty fun...

Fast forward to around week 5 in Nova’s training, and you can see in the second video that Nova is CRUSHING her off leash training!! Not only that, she is also highly engaged with her new buddy Sydni, and has done absolutely fantastic working on neutrality with other dogs. This girl has truly done a 180 in her training but also her overall demeanor. We are so proud of her and as her training enters the final weeks, we are so excited to build her up to a more confident, neutral member of society. Great job Nova!

Say hello to Beanie and Zoe! 😍 These two were adopted from the Hamilton County Humane Society about a month ago. Both are very sweet, but shelter life hasn’t given them the opportunities to learn some important life skills! They are here with us to work on their overall obedience and other behaviors like jumping, counter-surfing, etc. We absolutely love seeing newly rescued dogs come to training! It is the best way to set your newly adopted best friend up for success as they assimilate to home life. We can’t wait to see how Beanie and Zoe progress!

Juni is working hard on the farm over here! 😄 This sweet girl was rescued as a stray, with very little socialization experience. She is very fearful of new things and people particularly. However, she has been making such good progress with multiple people and learning to trust. Seeing her hop on a lawn mower and train around the noise on her own was so rewarding! Keep it up Juni!

This was Bentley’s first time doing a session with stronger distractions (by distractions, we mean our best helper Wyndham 😂) and she handled it so well! Keep it up Bentley 👏

Hello from Otto and Bronx, two of our 6 week board and train dogs! Both of these adorable guys have some struggles with anxiety and needing confidence (but hey, who doesn’t? 🤣) along with some basic obedience work and mild reactivity with dogs. With our 6 week doggie boot camp, these guys will also get to learn all the freedoms that come with off leash training in their time with us! We’re so excited to see their progress.

We are overjoyed to announce that Otter has found a home with the Executive Director at The Leland Legacy Senior Community in Richmond, Indiana! Otter will have a much needed and cherished role as a Therapy Dog for all the lovely residents at Leland Legacy. He will receive all the love, attention, and happiness from his new family and his new job! We couldn’t be happier with this pairing, and we know he will absolutely excel in this work. Otter will continue to train with us until he goes to his home at 6 months old.
