Our final day at camp, it always goes by so fast.
Our campers packed their belongings early and loaded it into the vans and off to breakfast we went.
Today was alittle different for us, as for our riding lessons we invited both friends and family to come see what our trainers and students have been working on together.
Our instructors also utilized the time to talk to both the families and students alittle more in depth about everything our program has to offer and what would be expected to them being apart of our riding teams.
They followed that with answering any questions.
After a great lesson, we gave our horses a good cooling down and bath.
Horse and rider safety are always the highest obligation.
We made sure horses were cooled off daily, cleaned well and had access to a liniment bath.
Drinks were always supplied for our campers to make sure they stayed hydrated as well.
After all the horses were cared for properly and put away back in their stalls our campers started heading out for a safe trip home.
We hope this isnβt goodbye, but a see you later.
Itβs always a great day to be a YJ, and we hope they will consider joining our hive and family. π΄π

Each boxed lunch came with an entree, οΏΌa deviled egg, a side and a dessert. It doesnβt get much better than that. We also were excited to continue supporting local.

Huge thanks to Sara Connor and Payton Stempin of Sterling Wave Therapy for giving magnawave demonstrations to not one, but TWO of our camp groups. They truly went above and beyond to share their knowledge and passion with our young equestrians, teaching them the scientific processes of PEMF therapies. They took the time to answer questions, share their real world experiences, and even made a quiz for the end of the presentation. If anyone is curious about magnawave, please reach out to them to learn how it can help your horse.
Although all of our farriers are very valued and appreciated beyond words at our facility, this go round I want to make a special message for Carl Via and JD Taylor CF.
They both did a seminar at all of our camps this year.
Each time they brought a smile, enthusiasm and more information to the table.
From the anatomy of the hoof, different types of shoeing, information about clips, they covered so much. Thank you for taking the time and showing the importance of good farrier work.

Thank you so much to Woodside Equine Clinic. They did extremely special tours of their offices, surgical centers barns and arenas.
It is easy to see how professional their staff and veterinarians are. They were so kind and helpful answering any questions our campers had.
The facility as a whole has always been spotless.
They did a tour for both our younger campers and recuitment campers and we are so thankful.
We are very grateful to have a surgical center less than 10 minutes away from us.
They also not only provide our clients with great veterinary care, but itβs also a place that can offer employment for our students. Thank you!
