Real Keen Leashes

Real Keen Leashes Handmade felted leashes, originally offered for sale to purchase a dog named Keen! Keen was born in November 2007 to my dogs Jane and Turk.

He was sold as a pup to a wonderful friend who trained him well but found herself with too many dogs, and Keen was eventually for sale. He was offered to me first, and I jumped at the chance to buy him back, he would fit my need for a dog to work set-out at sheepdog trials with my older dog Simon (his granddad.) Money being tight but inspiration high, I offered to buy him back on time, by selling my leashes, and thus, "Real Keen Leashes" was born.

We will be at the The Freckled Flower Farm Market tomorrow evening, just lazing in the midsummer heat, more leashes on hand than last time! Making more every chance I get! All the good bread folks, the Ice Cream truck, the cookies, Brookies, jams and preserves, they'll be there, 5 til 8. Cat lives there. She might come hang out with me again!

Working this week at the Bluegrass Classic in my official capacity up at the pen on the novice field. I was invited (as were we all) to join a musicsl gathering and supper, it was great music and just hanging. Naturally I brought my yarn and worked on a leash, but couldn't help noticing the one on this handler's chair! OIt wss the exact yarn I was working! Wow! Chill bumps! It's English Garden, the Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton colorway from Wisdom Poems Forte.

🐶 🐱 Tomorrow Evening from 4:30-7:30 PM Louisa County Animal Shelter will be joining us at our Farmers Market!

Stop by and meet some furry friends that are up for adoption and support a local animal shelter! 🤗

🥪 🍗 We'll also be joined by three food trucks this week: Bourne Rogue BBQ serving up Smoked Chicken & Pork, 1115 Mobile Kitchen serving up yummy sandwiches (meat & plant based options), and last but not least stop by The Scoop Mobile for a yummy Ice Cream Dessert! 🍦

🛍️ We will additionally have 15+ vendors selling all kinds of cool items and yummy foods! Find some amazing desserts at 's booth, and get your sourdough for the week from and of course explore the many other amazing vendors!

We will also have Just Tom Music preforming his amazing tunes at the farm yet again- Grab some dinner and a drink from our bar and sit back, relax and enjoy the music! 🎶 🍷

💐🎣Pick-Your-Own flowers and make a bouquet to take home with you while the kids play with our many yard games! You can also bring your own fishing pole and fish in our pond!
