Meet Manny. He's a diminutive, short-haired kitty with a smattering of white on him. He's approximately 2 years old and has had a tumultuous journey to kitty adulthood. Manny is very calm and reserved; he rarely meows. Manny came from a home with his littermate and all was wonderful between the two of them until they were neutered. Once his brother was neutered, Manny's entire world was flipped on its axis. The brother that he knew and loved was trying to dominate him and intimidated poor Manny. Since he was such a non-confrontational kitty already, Manny found himself turning inward even more and becoming more reserved because he feared going to the litter box and eating.
Manny was surrendered to Hanover Humane so that he wouldn't have to deal with his tyrannical brother and could have a chance to find a home with an owner who would understand him and appreciate his sensitive nature. Manny is easily stressed and would do well in a home as an only cat. He's not been socialized with dogs or children.
He recently went to the vet and received a clean bill of health. To help with his anxiety, the vet suggested giving him Royal Canin Calming dry food, and he seems to enjoy the new food. Manny is a gentleman about using his litterbox, and is extremely friendly and cuddly once he settles into a new setting. He's fully vetted, vaccinated, tested (-/-), and microchipped.
