Big Congrats to Annie Illian and Dillion aka Kevin Hart for winning Lancaster County 4H Senior Barrels Champion and having the fast time! Also, Reserve Champs in Pole Bending! We are so thankful Lee Ann Kucera reached out when we were horse shopping for a gentle, aged prospect to put in my training program for Annie! This was a big goal for Annie and I'm happy to see it come to fruition!

"Boo" & Morgan Erhardt 🔥Jess Wave Bye by French Streakin Jess out of Bob Quickstad Sr. nice mare JG Giddy Up. They keep collecting checks🙌 I had Boo the month of June - we accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. She had previous training issues to work through and needed a lot of confidence. Thankfully Boo is a very intelligent and willing mare- it didn't take long. I would ride ten more just like her💜 I appreciate her owner putting in the time, lessons and work to be the best she can be for Boo! It takes a team 💪

This is a KWB drill that I've incorporated with the younger horses. As always start at a walk, then trot... Featuring 3 year old (giant) Roy (ASNY x Royal Quick Dash) I prefer more space for the colts, it helps with their confidence, gives them room to come back and work again. Canter counter is a tough one and holding the lead is more tough. Roy has figured this out on the right side, left is a work in progress.
Sidenote- I tighten everything up with the older, physically stronger, more balanced and seasoned horses.
