Fun fact: We love kitties 😻
Another Fun Fact: “Peanut” is a female orange tabby...genetically, orange kitties are almost always male!! This makes her extra special, aside from the fact that she also is waiting patiently for her vaccines 😁
Our technician, Nick, lost his beloved cat Bernard in the Ashburn area between Ashburn Rd and Claiborne Pkwy. Please see the below post!! The more this posting gets out, the better! Let’s get Bernard safe and sound back home!
***UPDATE*** REUNITED!! Bernard is home safe & sound after 4 days, 18 hours :)
"Thank you so much for all the tip and well wishes. He came home about 6am. No worse for wear. All our other pets are so happy to see him and he is head butting everyone!"
Please spread the word! Bernard was LOST on July 13, 2020 in Ashburn, VA 20147 near Cedar Lane Elementary School
Message from Owner: Bernard is very friendly, he escaped this morning with out his collar and tag :(
If you call him, he will come to you. Isn't afraid of dogs, so that could be a problem....he is a sweet boy and as you can see, quite a clown. This photo was taken at the beginning of COVID. So, if you find him and bring him into your home, close the bathroom door!
Description: Orange Tabby Long Hair

“Teenager” puppy class 😆
Look at those beautiful blue puppy eyes! Meet the 13 week old Frenchton (Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix), “Chloe”. She was such a perfect little patient for her first vet visit!
A very pretty and handsome monochromatic sibling pair: “Bolt” the German Shepard and “Spark” the Beagle were great for their appointment! They supported each other through getting needles. 😊
Italian day: We like to do themed pot luck lunches to bring us together for a bit of relaxing, chatting about non-work related stuff and laughs. Food brings us together and fuels us for the rest of the day 😊
Traveling with a dog can be a significant source of distraction, and distracted driving is a major cause of vehicle accidents. In an accident, both dogs and humans are at risk from the unrestrained pet.
Please have a safe way of restraining your pet in your car; examples are a harness that attaches to the seatbelt, using crate or carrier for smaller pets.
AVAH wish you and your family a Happy 4th of July! Be safe and keep your pets away from any dangers! We will see you on Monday for normal business hours!
WE ARE CLOSED TODAY in efforts of taking some time to take care of ourselves so that we can take better care of your beloved pets! We appreciate your understanding! We will see you all again Monday, July 6th!
