This handsome boy is just beginning his rescue journey with us here in Texas, and we couldn’t be happier to have him safe and in our care.

Neo is an absolute sweetheart who is settling in nicely with his foster family. Over the next few weeks, he’ll complete his vetting and we’ll learn more about his personality, likes, and needs so we can find the perfect forever home for him.

For now, Neo is busy decompressing, enjoying the comforts of foster care, and getting ready for the bright future ahead of him.

There’s still time to join the fun and support Great Danes in need! We still have squares available in our Guess Athena’s Intake Weight fundraiser.

Athena is working toward a healthier, happier future, and your participation helps provide veterinary care, food, supplies, and other essentials for rescue dogs just like her.

🎯 How It Works:
• $10 donation per square
• Pick the square with your guess of Athena’s intake weight
• One person per square
• The person with the correct guess wins 50% of the total pot
• The remaining 50% helps support the dogs in our rescue program

Today we celebrate the breed we love so much that we are willing to endure the slobber, the giant uncoordinated bodies, the 100+ pound lap dog snuggles, the goofy attitudes, and so much more. We want YOU to please share a picture of your Great Dane(s) and tell us your favorite thing about them! ⬇️

Our beautiful girl Luna has found her happily ever after! ❤️

When Luna came into rescue, she was in rough shape. She was underweight, her skin needed a lot of care, and she had a long road ahead of her. Luckily, Luna regained her health, confidence, and sparkle.

Today, we’re thrilled to share that Luna has found a loving forever home where she will be cherished for the rest of her days. Watching dogs like Luna go from struggling to thriving is why we do what we do.

Congratulations to Luna and her new family! We wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventures together. 🏡❤️

🚨June is National Pet Preparedness Month! 🐾

Our pets are family, and just like the rest of the family, they need a plan during emergencies and disasters. Whether it’s wildfire season, hurricanes, floods, severe storms, or unexpected evacuations, being prepared can make all the difference.

➡️Take time this month to create or update your pet emergency kit with food, water, medications, vet records, leashes, carriers, and comfort items. Put together a "go-bag".
➡️Make sure your pets’ microchips and ID tags are current, and research pet-friendly shelters, hotels, or boarding options ahead of time.
➡️Crate train and muzzle train your pets. In the event of emergencies, rescue crews are not able to help your pet if they can't safely handle or transport them.

Including your pets in your emergency plans helps ensure they stay safe, cared for, and reunited with you if disaster strikes. ❤️

Prepared pets are protected pets!

Athena is on her way to a healthier more comfortable life! As she begins her journey toward a new and improved version of herself, we’re celebrating with a fun fundraiser that gives you a chance to win while supporting Danes in rescue!

🎯 How It Works:

Stormy may bark at new people initially, but she warms up quickly and is very friendly.
