Gus is feeling SOOO much better and has officially been released from the ER! 🎉 We are beyond relieved to see such a quick turnaround.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and shared to help cover the cost of his care. Your support truly made a difference.

While we still have a ways to go to fully cover the cost of his care, we are incredibly grateful and encouraged by how well Gus has responded to treatment. It turns out he was dealing with a pretty severe case of stress colitis, which explains just how quickly things escalated.

Seeing him brighter, more comfortable, and back home means everything. Thank you all for supporting Gus!

Meet Majesty, a gentle, sweet female Great Dane looking for a foster home where she can be part of a family. 💕

🐾 About Majesty
• DOB: 7/17/2022
• Will be spayed and vaccinated in rescue
• Needs to gain some much needed weight.
• Previously lived outdoors but house trained
• Crate trained
• Walks decently on leash

💖 Personality
Majesty is timid at first but incredibly sweet once she feels safe. She is:
• Dog friendly
• Cats unknown
• VERY food motivated
• Great in the car
• Loves pets, snuggles, and affection
• Will bark at noises but responds well when told to quiet down

Majesty just needs a patient foster willing to give her structure, love, and the comfort of indoor living while she gets fully vetted. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate Dane who truly wants to please 💜

🎉GUS UPDATE: Gus has been released from the ER and is recovering at home with his foster. Gus had a severe case of stress colitis and is expected to make a full recovery soon!

🚨 URGENT: Funds Needed for Gus’s Emergency Hospitalization 🚨

Gus (fka Akino) is currently hospitalized after suffering a severe GI distress episode that led to extreme dehydration, anorexia, and lethargy.

He will at LEAST 18 hours of hospitalization, including:
• X-rays
• Bloodwork
• IV fluids
• Anti-nausea medications

This is just the beginning of his treatment, and Gus’s medical estimate has already reached $3,100.

💔 We urgently need help to cover the cost of Gus’s emergency care so he can continue receiving the treatment he needs.

Our beautiful blue queen is back with the Hearty Paws family.

Unfortunately, her recent adoption wasn’t the right fit due to the resident cat. While Ember was not aggressive toward her kitty roommate, she was a bit too enthusiastic when the cat wanted to run and play.

Because of this, we’re recommending a home without cats or small dogs for Miss Ember. She does wonderfully with other dogs over 30 lbs and would thrive with a confident canine companion. Ember is truly a special girl and ready to find the right forever home! Read more about Ember below.⬇️
