Paws of Love Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization founded in 2014 dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, re-homing of abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs (and occasionally cats). We focus our rescue efforts on both DFW area shelters and more rural area shelters surrounding the north and east Texas areas. We often work with owners who are no longer able to care for their pets. All of our rescued animals are fostered in loving homes while awaiting forever homes. We provide basic vetting to all our rescues and often are called to rescue dogs with medical and behavioral issues that we fund outside of our normal adoption fee.
