With extreme temperatures in our area, pets can overheat much faster than we do. Keep your best friends safe with these quick tips:
-Walk Early or Late: Limit outdoor time to early mornings or late evenings when it's cooler.
-The 5-Second Rule: If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand, it's too hot for their paws!
-Water & Shade: Always provide plenty of fresh water and a cool, shaded resting area.
-Never in a Car: Even with cracked windows, a parked car can reach deadly temperatures in minutes
