⚠️ WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT ⚠️

Rosie came in with a right ear hematoma ( a localized collection of blood that has pooled outside of the blood vessels due to the blood vessels getting damaged ) that caused her ear to flop over (see first photo)

SWIPE ➡️ to see Dr. Torres corrected this with a sedated procedure in which she punched holes in the first layer of skin to release the excess of blood and then placed multiple sutures to keep the two layers of the ear together. Due to the pooling of blood, a gap between the two layers of the ear had been created and without further action the ear would have continued to fill with blood.

Rosie is recovering well after her procedure and hopefully after her ear heals it will return to an upright position. 🥰 ❤️‍🩹
