🎁🐾 Santa’s tiniest helpers are ready to sleigh your heart! 🐾🎁

Our adoptable kittens at The Buddy Foundation are busy practicing for Christmas — climbing “trees,” chasing twinkly lights, and perfecting their cozy snuggle skills.

If your holiday wishlist includes unconditional love, soft purrs, and a little chaos wrapped in fur, these cuties are waiting to meet you!

Come meet these little lovebugs and see if one might be the purr-fect fit for your family year-round.

It was a great day for our sweet boy Pippin. He was surrendered to a shelter in Missouri but made it to the Buddy Foundation when we tagged him for rescue . This kind man came in to meet some of our dogs. When we brought Pippin in to see him, he immediately jumped on the couch and started licking his face. It was then that Pippin knew— he was going home. As you can see, Pippin is feeling right at home, snoozing on his new couch. Nothing makes us happier than seeing a dog sleeping soundly, knowing that it’s safe. Have the best life Pippin!

Our cats at Buddy spent today doing what they do best — napping, playing, and soaking up every bit of love. And thanks to your Giving Tuesday donations, they’ll continue to have the care and comfort they need… along with all of our wonderful dogs, too.

Your generosity keeps our shelter animals safe, healthy, and hopeful.

We’re so grateful for you.

Meet Rusty! This one-year old, 36-lb cutie came to Buddy after being found as a stray with his Mom and sister downstate.. When Rusty first arrived, he was quite timid and unsure. He required a lot of coaxing and some incentive in the form of treats to feel comfortable coming in and out of the shelter. With patience and routine, Rusty has made tremendous progress. He now, "knows he's a dog" and carries himself with confidence and is eager to explore, play and make new friends with people and other dogs.

Rusty is one of many dogs that we pull from downstate animal control facilities who are at risk of being euthanized due to overcrowding. Sadly, up to 6,000,000 animals are euthanized every year due to overcrowding in animal control shelters. Our goal is to reduce that number as much as we can every year. As of today we have saved almost 15,000 animals and so far we’ve done over 300 adoptions this year.

🐾 On this Giving Tuesday, your generosity truly saves lives.
As an all-volunteer organization, every dollar goes directly to the care of cats and dogs like Rusty. Your donation means more rescues, more medical care, and more happily-ever-afters.

💙 Donate. Share. Save a life.
Thank you for helping us continue this lifesaving work.

She may not have a secret lab or criminal intentions, but miss Jojo here is a mastermind. She will plot and plan the demise of any wand toy or laser pointer that crosses her path. She is someone who thinks before she acts, so if you visit, take your time and come armed with toys.

This beautiful senior girl got her name because of the little bobbed tail that she was born with. Bobbie loves attention and being brushed - but she is very sensitive about her back end, and occasionally we take her to the groomer. While Bobbie loves her people (and she definitely has her favorites!), she is not a fan of other cats, and she needs to be the only pet in a quiet, adults-only home. She is currently on some anti-anxiety medication- but we expect that she could wean off of that if she could be the only kitty in your life. Bobbie has been waiting for a very long time for that perfect family: Could it be yours?
