Good morning from the triplets!

I recently got a new doe, Jasmine, and was told she was incredibly sweet. From the beginning, though, she never seemed to like me much. I gave her time to settle in, and when I knew she was ready to be a mama bred her to a handsome buck. Her attitude got even snarkier over the next few weeks! I was convinced she had decided I was her least favorite person.

She kindled on Wednesday. On Thursday, I sat with her and talked to her while letting her smell my hands after I had checked on her babies. She seemed relaxed and accepting, so I started gently rubbing her head and ears.

Then she did something that completely melted my heart—she flopped over on her side and just laid there while I petted her for several minutes.

Whether it was trust, relief, or just a happy bunny moment, it felt like she was finally telling me, “Okay, human… you’re alright.” 🥰🥰🥰
