The Sudsy Dogmobile We are a mobile dog grooming service located in Arab, AL, servicing Arab and surrounding areas. Most dogs are groomed in just 1-2 hours.

We bring our mobile dog grooming trailer right to your home for less stress for you and your dog! My wife originally Started up The Sudsy Dogmobile in 2007 in Colorado Springs, CO and by 2010 the business was thriving. I quit my Job and decided to hop on board so we expanded the business and we ran 2 full time grooming trailers. Working with the largest rescue facility in town All Breed training

and Rescue as well as many of the vets offices in the area. In 2013 my wife gave birth to our daughter and decided she wanted to be a stay at home mom. So we went down to 1 unit and i doubled up on my client list. I closed the business down in October of 2016 and we moved to Idaho. We have started up a few businesses over the years but unfortunately one thing has always remained true I like dogs much more than people. We now live in Arab, AL and i am constantly seeing people looking for groomers every time i log onto our local page. I already had the trailer it just seemed like a no brainer. I just needed to re outfit it for grooming once again. We now have the trailer all set up with a brand new stainless steel tub, hot water heaters, blow dryers now just to start getting clients.

🐾 Here's a little photo dump from this wild week! 🐶 It's been a blast, but whew, I've been swimming in fur with all these big dogs shedding their coats like crazy! 😅 The ticks and fleas have been *horribly* bad this year too, so please, give your pups some extra love and check them thoroughly tonight. Stay safe and keep those tails wagging! 🐾✨

This poor pup was so matted up even my finest blade couldn't cut through it The hair was so matted on its shoulders and legs I had to use my scissors and cut through it an 1/8th of an inch at a time and then peel the matting back so I could take my scissors and slowly work around its legs to give you an idea it normally takes me an hour to an hour and a half to groom a dog this size even with a little bit of matting. It took me 3 hours and 45 minutes to get this pup cleaned up. There's no reason anyone's dog should ever get this bad over time the mats pull so tight that eventually it will start pulling their fur right out of their hide I've seen it happen first hand. I just wish that if people didn't have time to take care of their animals they would find them a home where they would be taken care of.

This was my Big Challenge of the day. Thankfully the pup was really good natured and very patient. Keeping in mind its an outdoor pup it looked like it was a few years overdue for a haircut. I have to say that the doodle breeds are one of my favorite dogs to groom and the majority of them are very patient happy monsters. This pup was very matted up i was able to remove its coat in one piece. Its coat was filled with rocks, sticks and Alabama red clay. I destroyed 2 blades trying to cut through this pups fur it made for a long day but at least he was good company.
