A Fowl Business A Fowl Business is our hobby poultry/bird farm in Apopka, FL. Hello from A Fowl Business in Apopka! Hatching eggs are available. We love newbies!

We're a small poultry/bird farm, located about a mile north of Zellwood Station, specializing in breeding ornamental chickens such as Silkies, Polish, Mille Fleur & Porcelain d'Uccles, and bantam Cornish. We also breed heritage turkeys, fancy pigeons, rare quail and pheasants and offer seasonal chicks. We provide quality young adult laying hens and roosters for those who want to skip raising chick

s. And our beautiful laying flock provides eating eggs in a rainbow of colors. We love our birds and enjoy introducing others to the joys of poultry. 💡While humans are “trichromats” (we see red, blue, and green)

👀Chickens are TETRACHROMATS (they see red, blue, green and UV lights)

💡They’ve got an extra cone in their eyes that lets them see ultraviolet light.

In other words, your flock lives in a rainbow we’ll never experience.

✨Science shows that UV light lowers stress, reduces fear, and may support bone health in laying hens.

Pretty wild, right? 🐓🌈

Our Story

Hello from A Fowl Business in Apopka! We're a small NPIP certified farm. We love our birds and enjoy introducing others to the joys of poultry! Our birds are happy, well cared for, beloved pets, housed in clean, comfortable surroundings, mostly free ranging during the day.

We do not sell meat birds. Our sales flocks consist of a select few laying hens, quality purebreds, pretty/fun bantams (eye candy), heritage turkeys, pheasants & fancy pigeons - basically, the breeds we've fallen in love with over time.

We currently breed - CHICKENS: Giant Blue Cochins, bearded standard Polish, Mille Fleur d’Uccles, & Porcelain d’Uccles. PIGEONS: Frillbacks, Chinese Frills, Indian Fantails & Russian Tumblers.
