📣 SPOTLIGHT TIME! 🐾

Last weekend, this incredible team earned their Master Agility Champion (MACH) title! 🎉✨

Halo is an absolutely phenomenal Boxer - if you ever have the chance to watch her run, you’ll be inspired. Together, Fietta and Halo have overcome so much to reach this incredible milestone. Their dedication, perseverance, and partnership will leave you in awe.

Looks like the secret’s out… Dog-On-It Agility Club was sniffed out by USA Today! 🔍📰

Our AKC Scent Work Trial from this past weekend was featured in a national news article, highlighting our phenomenal club, talented handlers, and their four-legged companions as they searched high and low for hidden odors (and maybe a few bragging rights 😉) at our Murder Mystery themed event.

We’re so proud to see several of our members and their dogs representing this incredible sport on the national stage. Congratulations to everyone featured—you’ve certainly left your scent on the world! ❤️🐶🔍

🕵️‍♀️ CASE CLOSED! 🐾🔎

Our Dog-On-It Agility Club AKC Scent Work Trial is officially in the books, and we’re thrilled to report that the mystery has been solved! 🕵️‍♂️🎉

A huge thank you to our incredible judges, Beth Jernigan and Carol Happel, for designing a weekend full of clever clues, challenging searches, and opportunities for every team to put their detective skills to the test. Their thoughtful courses kept noses working and tails wagging from start to finish!

Our trial secretary, Cindy Deak, also deserves a high-note of recognition and gratitude, ensuring a smooth process of handling scores - even with a stressful computer malfunction in the midst of the trial! She went above and beyond to get everything sorted and competitors happy. THANK YOU!! 🫶🏻 Diane Lewis, our trial chair for this event, knocked it outtave the park with putting together the edge-of-your-seat murder mystery and decorations. Such an exhilarating twist of fun woven into this event to make it fabulous and engaging! 🔎

Of course, no great investigation is ever solved by detectives alone. A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to every single volunteer who helped crack the case:
🧼 Our cleanup crew that gave the trial site a spotless start,
🐾 Our gate stewards who kept the investigation running right on schedule,
🫶🏻 Our welcoming faces who made newcomers feel like part of the scent work family,
📋 Our judge assistants who helped every search unfold seamlessly,
🫆 And every single person who pitched in wherever the clues led them.

Because of all of you, this weekend wasn’t just a trial—it was a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and an amazing scent work community. We shared victories, laughs, unforgettable moments, and even uncovered a murderer during our Murder Mystery event! Congratulations to all of our sleuthing teams who pieced together the clues, identified the culprit, and walked away with some really fun prizes! 🏆

Hello… you.

I saw you scrolling.

Maybe you paused for just a second when you saw “September AKC Agility Trial.” Maybe you told yourself you were just looking. Just gathering information. Not committing.

That’s what they all say.

But I know you better.

I know you’ve been chasing that elusive clean run. Replaying knocked bars and missed contacts in your head at 2 a.m. Telling yourself the next trial will be different. That this time, everything will come together.

And now here we are.

🚀🌎 Have you noticed a lot of excitement orbiting around Florida’s agility community lately? There’s a good reason for all the cosmic commotion… DACOF is approaching!

DACOF (Dog Agility Competition of Florida) is an annual team-based dog agility tournament that celebrates canine athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Clubs and training groups from all across the Sunshine State launch into a weekend filled with fast runs, friendly competition, and plenty of camaraderie. Teams may include up to 10 dogs, divided by skill level, allowing handlers and dogs of all experience levels to contribute to their crew’s mission.

This year, Dog-On-It Agility Club is thrilled to be sending THREE teams into the 2026 tournament: ⭐ The Dazzlers, ⚡ The Dynamos, and 💥 The Dynamite! Our teams have been training at warp speed, preparing their skills, building teamwork, and getting ready for a weekend that is sure to be out of this world.

What makes this year’s mission especially extraordinary is that Dog-On-It enters DACOF as the reigning Overall Champion for the last TWO years in a row! While there are plenty of talented teams preparing for launch across the state, our crews are hoping to successfully defend our title in 2026 and keep the championship trophy in our orbit for another year. No matter where we ultimately land in the standings, we’re excited to represent our club and showcase the teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship that make Dog-On-It so very special.

A huge shoutout goes to our incredible Team Captain, Kelly Weaver, who has been serving as mission control behind the scenes. From coordinating practices and navigating important deadlines to transmitting critical information and helping our teams prepare their festive crating themes, Kelly has been keeping all systems a-go. Her phenomenal leadership has helped ensure our crews are fueled, organized, and ready for liftoff.

Most importantly, while Dog-On-It is sending three teams under our club banner, we want to celebrate EACH and EVERY ONE of our members who will be competing at DACOF this year. Some of our members will be running with other teams and organizations, and we couldn’t be more excited for them!! Whether you’re wearing Dog-On-It colors or representing another squad, you are still a vital part of our Dog-On-It family. Every member contributes to the strength, spirit, and successes of our club, and we are proud to cheer for ALL of you as you reach for the stars!

As DACOF draws closer, you’ll probably continue to see plenty of activity from our agility astronauts as they prepare for blast off. Whether we’re chasing clean runs, navigating challenging courses, making new friends across the galaxy of Florida agility, or simply enjoying the journey together, DACOF is always a stellar reminder of what makes this sport so special.

Stay tuned as the countdown continues. The Dazzlers, Dynamos, and Dynamite are fueled up, ready for launch, and hoping to make this year’s tournament a truly intergalactic adventure! 🛸🐾🌟

The game is afoot… and every nose knows the truth!

Join us to help crack the case at our detective-themed weekend of sniffing, searching, and serious fun. Whether your dog is a rookie investigator or a seasoned sleuth, we’ve got plenty of mysteries to solve!
