Doggieology101 Doggieology101 is all about teaching people how to communicate effectively with their dog! As a pack animal, a dog’s DNA requires that someone be the leader.

Does your dog jump on people, pull on the leash, have little to no impulse control and need to learn some manners?? As your K9 coach, I would come to your home and teach you simple effective techniques that will show you how to command the calm state of mind and show your dog that you are their pack leader. People often unknowingly give their dog mixed or confusing signals about who runs the pack.

If they are confused about this in any way, they often will step up and assume the leadership position. This confusion creates anxiety and stress in the dog and can lead to pushy, challenging or destructive behavior. They respond best to a strong leader who creates the rules, boundaries and limitations and who commands a calm state of mind.
