What do senior cats do better than anyone?

Stay outta trouble, bask in the sun, snuggle with you to your heart's content.... Fill your days with love! All the above!!!

Meet Brewster and Charlie, this amazing senior pair just awaits a perfect home.

Did you know we have a seniors for senior program? YEP, We sure do.

Those young crazy kittens may be adorable, and make you laugh, as well as often making you want to pull your hair out at times with their never ending curiosity and need to find what kind of trouble they can get into... not the best match for a senior wanting some sweet companionship.

Just like senior cats, once we slow down and become wiser we learn that sometimes we just gotta take life a little slower and appreciate all those the little things in life that mean so much.
Like a little time in those spectacular warm rays of sunshine that sparkle and reflect off the snow outside and right thru our windows to the most comfy, warm places in our homes.

Thats what Brewster and Charlie are waiting for, someone to just sit back and enjoy those special moments with! Could that be you? Or maybe some special senior in your life that knows just the perfect way to give a loving cat a warm lap and a few scritches behind the ears or under the chin.

Well we are kicking off our holiday week by celebrating the rescue of 2 kittens off the street.

First is little 14 week old Tuxedo Boy named Dean.

A wonderful person live trapped and cared for him for several weeks, when they were no longer able to offer the social time with him they thought he deserved they reached out hoping he could join the rescue and other cats he could play with, he joined one of our wonderful foster homes yesterday.

2nd came from Eagan, a family seen her and wanted to help, with just a little coaxing and some yummy soft food she decided she would be safe with them, they were able to pick her up and carry her into the garage where she stayed for a couple weeks while they searched for a possible owner.

This BEAUTIFUL estimated 17 week old sweet girl was able to leave her garage after seeing our vets today and getting a clean bill of health.
She is joining little Dean and we are hoping they can be wonderful play buddies for each other as we get both ready for adoption. ( name coming soon!)

So happy to have both indoors!

SAFE, HAPPY, WARM, WELL FED AND LOVED.
