A few quick reminders to keep your pet safe during the festivities: keep them away from grills and hot coals, skip the corn on the cob, bones and fatty scraps, watch for overheating if you're outside, be safe around water, and make sure ID tags are up to date, just in case!

🐾 Hot sand and pavement can burn paws, stick to cooler hours
💧 Bring fresh water, lake and seawater aren't safe to drink
🕶 Give them shade and ask about pet-safe sunscreen
🏊 Not every pet is a natural swimmer, a life vest helps
🚫 Watch for dead fish, trash, or algae along the shore
