🎃👻 $5.00 FRIDAY – A LITTLE HALLOWEEN MAGIC! 👻🎃

Happy Halloween Weekend from all of us at 4 The Love Of Rescue!
We're hoping a little Halloween magic will go a LONG way this weekend! 🪄✨
Our rescue is in need of some magical donations to help pay off our outstanding vet bill of $698.76 at Fairland Veterinary Hospital, along with the continued care of five precious newborn puppies.

These little ones came to us after being found by a jogger in a dirty cardboard box along the side of the road. Sadly, two had already passed away by the time they reached us. 💔 But the other FIVE little fighters are thriving, and we're doing everything we can to give them the chance at life they deserve! ❤️🐶

This is our FIRST and ONLY donation post for October, and we're hoping to finish out this Halloween weekend by waving a magic wand and making that vet bill disappear! 🎃🪄

We know times are tough, and we never take a single donation, share, or kind gesture for granted. We have been incredibly blessed by the support of our community throughout the years. YOU are the reason we're able to keep answering those calls for help, taking in the unwanted, and giving these little lives a second chance.

💔 I honestly don't even know where to start today. 💔
Our day began with a heartbreaking call about 7 newborn puppies found in a cardboard box on the side of FF Highway by a jogger. Two of those tiny babies were already deceased. 😭
How do you look at a box of helpless, newborn puppies and just leave them on the side of the road? These babies had no way to fend for themselves, no way to find food, and no way to escape the fate someone left them to face. The complete disregard for these innocent little lives is weighing heavily on my heart today.

I will never understand how anyone can be so heartless.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to Crystal Waltrip, who never turns away our bottle babies, even while dealing with an injury of her own. ❤️ Crystal, your willingness to step up for these fragile little lives means more than words can ever express. These babies need people like you, and we are so grateful for you.

💔 But our day wasn't over.
Our second call came from Deputy Shores about two more puppies who desperately need help.
Last night, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol apprehended a wanted fugitive working with federal authorities. When the vehicle was impounded, they discovered two puppies inside — one boy and one girl, approximately 4 months old.
Unfortunately, there are no animal-control policies in place to help them through this situation, and without rescue intervention, these two innocent puppies faced the possibility of being euthanized.
They didn't do anything wrong. They were simply in the wrong place, with the wrong person, and now their lives are hanging in the balance. 💔
🐾 WE DESPERATELY NEED A FOSTER HOME FOR THESE TWO PUPPIES! 🐾
We want to give them a chance at life, safety, and a future where they will know what it means to be loved. But we cannot do it without help.
As a foster-based rescue, we depend on compassionate people willing to open their homes and hearts to dogs who have nowhere else to turn. We provide the supplies needed to care for our foster dogs; we just need someone willing to give these babies a safe place to land.
Some days, rescue breaks your heart in ways that are hard to put into words. Today is one of those days.

We are trying to help with a small dog situation and could use your help.
Dogs seem to be Chihuahua mixes.
4 The Love Of Rescue provides everything you need to care for the dog.
They just need a place to stay while vetting is done and adopters found.
