Leo's Search For A Home This page is dedicated to finding a loving home for a special boy named Leo. He is currently living at the Babylon Shelter in Long Island, NY.

Handsome #23-299, male. Arrived 7/21/2023 at 3 years old. Handsome lives up to his name — a hunky, affectionate boy with a love for bear hugs and cuddles. He’s looking for his home as the only pet and would likely do best in a home with older kids or teens. 💕

Handsome is house-trained, smart as a whip, and eager to please. Volunteers call him one of the sweetest dogs in the shelter. He loves play

time in the yard, leaning in for hugs, and soaking up every bit of attention from his people. Snack-motivated and well-behaved, he’s quick to bond and devoted. 😍

Handsome likely will do best with an adopter experienced with resource guarding, and a secure fenced yard. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving companion who makes every day brighter. ☀️

PLEASE, PLEASE come meet me ... I promise you will love me .. I just need a chance! I am going to need ACL repair surgery and DESPERATELY need a foster to recover in. I must be the only pet or seperated. ❤️

This charming guy has blossomed through the guidance he has received at his shelter journey and is ready to find the perfect person who will keep helping him shine. ✨

Leo is strong, smart, and eager to please, he is in search of a seasoned adopter who will continue his training and help him stay focused. He’s an active boy who lives for fetch and could spend hours splashing around in the pool, his two favorite things! 🎾

Once he’s had time to settle in and form a partnership, Leo shows his softer side — he adores back scratches, affection, and spending time with his people. He’s a loyal companion who listens well and responds beautifully to structure and consistency. 🧡
