We’d like to introduce Ella. Ms Ella has been with us a while. With the passing of time she’s now considered a senior at 7.

Ella arrived in November of 2024 and she has been a sweetheart from day 1.
She is VERY low energy and just wants to hang out and get attention and snacks.

As you may notice she has some disfigurement on her nose. In doing some research we found out she was attacked by a dog while in a yard where puppies she had given birth to were present. So as you can guess she prefers no other dogs.

Ella is a little thick 🤭 and we are working on trimming her waistline so we recommend kids 8 or older so she’s not knocking small ones over.

So if you’re looking for a calm, very sweet and affectionate middle aged dog come meet Ella she’s an absolute gem.

Bubba is happy fall is coming, cooler weather is better for this old man. That doesn’t mean he’ll walk any further.

As soon as he comes out he does his business and if we let him he’d go right back to his kennel. He loves to nap in there while everyone else begs for more walks. Bubba needs a better life than the shelter.

Let’s find this senior a home so he can enjoy the time he has left.

Stitch and Blossom had a great day out at the Pet Expo. They both did amazing making friends all day long. While they didn’t seem to get any firm interest they got time out of their kennels. Please keep sharing these 2 seniors ladies.

Both are dog and kid friendly and 8 years old. And they love the car!

Ready for some good news! Joey has left the shelter.

We love when the seniors find their homes there is just something extra special about it. Joey is adjusting beautifully and will continue getting some vet care for his skin and ears.

We can’t thank his new mom enough for giving a dog that was neglected his whole life a loving home. Thank you Rebound Hounds for always stepping up to help our dogs.

Blossom is our most recent senior to arrive. She is just a delight, extremely happy, loves everyone and really seems to want dog friends.

Please come meet her or any of our seniors. We really hate seeing seniors in shelters it’s very unfair that they land in doggy jail at the end of their lives.
