Everyone meet Elsa! She is an absolute princess.

While she doesn’t look her age at 10 years old she is the oldest dog in our care and we’d love to see her find a home. She’s sweet and gentle and loves everyone she meets.

Let us introduce Royalty or “Ro” as we like to call her.

She’s 8 years old and a total sweetheart. She’s petite like 45 lbs and seems to do well with some dogs.

While we get many dogs surrendered I was there the day her owner dropped her off. Truly it was upsetting. They came shortly after the shelter closed on a Saturday. Luckily staff was still in the building.

The family was moving and pulled up in a U-Haul with her in the back in a crate. They were literally on their way to wherever they were going and the last did they did was drop off their dog. They filled out the paperwork and left her after 8 years. They raved about how great she was but it made no difference she had to go.

In spite of this she’s been so sweet very easy to care for although a little confused at first. She deserves a family that won’t desert her again.

Please let’s help this sweet older gal find a loving home and family.

Her name perfectly suits her, so sweet and enjoyable to be around. Cookie is a petite little lady who does well with other dogs and also lived with kids. And at 7 years old a nice level of energy.

Reb! It’s always heartbreaking to have seniors in the shelter. But imagine being in the shelter so long you move into the senior category.

Rebel came to us in July of 2023 as a 4 year old. An adoption then meant almost a whole life ahead enjoying a family and a home. Now 3 years later and being 7 half his life has been at the shelter.

It’s time for him to find a place to rest his head on a cozy couch and leave life in a kennel behind.

Our newest senior to introduce is Clover. A very sweet and laid back husky 👀. While huskies are not known for calm demeanor it’s true in this case. He walks nicely on a leash, doesn’t mind resting on the bench and is extremely happy getting attention.

Clover is about 9 years old and seems to like other dogs. Let’s find this guy a nice place to call home again.

It’s always sad to see seniors in shelters. Kairo has been with us so long he’s now considered a senior.

He doesn’t act like one he’s still got plenty of pep. Please help us find him a family. So much of his life has been spent in a kennel.
