ANNUAL CHECKUP. Mouse came in today for her yearly check-up with the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital's Primary Care section. The College of Veterinary Medicine provides full-service primary care to cats and dogs in the Ames and surrounding communities. MEET ESTEE. Estee is a new addition to the "Whisker Warriors' Furst Responders" cat colony blood donor room in the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital. Estee and her fellow felines are helping cats keep all lives one blood donation at a time. Estee likes to bat the foam balls around and chase wand toys.

MEET DEAN. Dean is a new addition to the "Whisker Warriors' Furst Responders" cat colony blood donor room in the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital. Dean and his fellow felines are helping cats keep all lives one blood donation at a time. CHEMO GRAD. Bailey, a seven-year-old Labrador Retriever, recently graduated from the Oncology Department in the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital. Bailey was diagnosed with high grade mast cell tumor, a type of skin tumor, and has received chemotherapy at Iowa State over the past several months.
